Default Post game thread: Mavs beat OKC 100-87

Marion was great in second, VC was great in first half. Both Mahinmi and Haywood played well. Dirk was his usual great effecient self. The half court defense was great (with help from Westbrook), the transition defense still needs a lot of work. Lamar was solid.

Nice to start seeing Odom relax a little, Vince Carter get his legs back...

What is interesting to see, is the center play...Carlisle and players are really getting both Haywood and Mahinmi involved and have set plays for them. It used to be that unless Chanler was in, there were rare points for any other centers. With him gone - Haywood and Ian are really starting to flourish. Nothing spectacular yet - but getting there.

Disappointed that Roddy isn't getting more play. There has been nothing to indicate that he lost his spot - he had played well until now. I think it's just Carlisle's numbers/rotation game...It's just going to be hard to get regular minutes.

Carlisle tightened it up tonight. Basically an 8 man rotation.

Sitting under some OKC fans. Many disapprovals about Westbrook. Going to be a love hate relationship kind of like the way JJB was for the Mavericks.

Awesome game!

I could see him being traded this year. On the court i would compare him to a Stephon Marbury type PG, As in his stats will for the most part look good and he can win games for you, BUT! he doesn't make other players around him that much better.

They could get great value for him in a trade i just hope that it doesn't happen.

Dude is durable though... not a single major injury.... yet
