PGT: Ellis, Parsons beat Anthony "Reggie Miller" Morrow
Well, that wasn't a boring game...

The defense still sucks, but the Mavs should embrace being an offensive juggernaut. They are what they are.
Great win!

Lame ass Westbrook trying the total flop at the end.
Awesome replay center when the ball hit Kanters shoulder and the Thunder got rewarded with the ball...

It is still so weird not having to be carried offensively by Dirk

It funny that how good a basketball player Westbrook is and at the same time how stupid he is. Final play from him was awful. Good to get the W. Tomorrow Rockets. Harden dropped 51 today. Hope we can show better defense tomorrow. Howard didn't play tonight but is promised to play tomorrow

Rational OKC fans would tell you the same thing. He is tied with Bron Bron as the most physically gifted player in the league, but he still makes boneheaded decisions when it matters.

How about the Rondo play on the jump ball where he knew he couldn't win the tip, so instead he ran straight to the uncovered player to steal it. That was J Kidd like.

10 assists to 1 turnover says it all. Mavs committed only 6 turnovers for the whole game. Rick will be buying the drinks for that stat alone.

That was an awesome play!
That parsons shake 'n fade mid range shot is something I have not seen him use as a mav or rocket. If that's something he can do with any kind of consistency my pants will be getting pretty tight.

Although I've only watched the second half, I feel like this game was pretty much the story of the season - just an up-and-down roller coaster ride. Great offense, bad defense. Even with 10 points up in the fourth you know they can throw away the lead in less than a minute, as well as they can regain the lead at any time when falling behind.
This is pretty much the most unpredictable Mavs team I've ever seen. We have so many weapons but we rarely make use of the full offensive and/or defensive potential. Tonight we finally played at our best on offense again, but as I said, the defense was pretty much crap. Thank god we won the shootout in the end so we should be holding on to that 7th spot which gives us at least a chance to survive the first playoff round.

Westbrook needs a coach who is going to rip him for such crap. Who also benches him if he starts his total chucking bonehead phases..
Pop or RC...

What a crazy game! Both teams over 100 before the 4th quarter, Mavs shoot 62% as a team, three different Thunder players score 30+, Westbrook w/ the triple double...
This pretty much solidifies us not getting swept by Golden State in the first round. Great win!

Magic number of Mavs wins/Thunder losses dropped from 7 to 4, because we now own tiebreakers.
1 thunder losses and 3 mavs wins of the next 7 guarantees 7th seed

Hopefully the law of averages doesn't bite us against Houston.

A german sports side says this happened last time in 1997, when Phoenix beat Portland after 4 (!) overtimes.

Here is a video for them who didn't see it. Good play.

Does Parsons have the smoothest looking slow motion moves to the basket or what?
It looks like he travels every time but he doesn't...very deceptive.
Very crafty and unique but effective part of his game.
Was very encouraged by Ellis sharing the spotlight with someone else for a change.

Hasn't happened in regulation since '95.

61.5% overall with 72 points in the paint - I slept great.
Stoudemire 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting in 19 min.

Interesting how a lot of fans have complained that we have too many ball handlers. In a tight, close game like this that was a huge plus. And it can be a huge plus in the playoffs when the games turn into half court bloodfests.

Great win. Tyson and Amar'e combining to shoot 14/15? That'll go a long way toward making up for poor defense and rebounding.

If all the different ball handlers get a chance to touch the ball it is a huge plus.
Was actually proud of Ellis this game...hope it continues.

Yeah, he made the right call passing to Parsons late in the game. If he wants to make Parsons-type money, then he needs to keep doing that.
He really didn't force much this game, and that is Ellis at his best.
