This is so depressing. The Knicks are bad, like super fkin bad without unicorn but this is really about to be a lost season. It's a damn shame too with how it looked like we should have been a virtual lock for a top 5 pick... now we have to seriously hope and pray we don't fall to 9.

See, I wasn't caring about 5-7. OK, lots of tanking teams. But if we land outside of 7, then Cuban either needs to sell or Donnie needs to go or Rick. Heads have to f'in roll.

And my god, Dwight Powell has arguably been out best player as of lately, at least outside of Barnes. But hey, let's start DFS instead whilst playing Powell 9 minutes off the bench. Makes perfect sense.

I find it tiring to care about the draft. I understand the implications for the future blah blah blah.

I'm rooting for my Mavs. For Dirk, obviously, but the development seen in the younger players has been pleasant to watch. If it's a win, it's a win. If it's a loss, it's a loss. I am honestly finding it a fun team to watch and interact with each other.

I'm not saying everyone here is anti-Mavs or anything, but the constant pessimism on the board regarding the draft position or future of this team is dragging.

I see these guys fighting their ass off every game now, and I love it. You can chalk that up to whatever you want, whether that's Cuban's comments or simply playing shit teams and realizing the Mavs aren't THAT bad, and be thankful, to be honest.

Can you imagine being a fan of some of these teams? I'd rather root for these guys any day of the week and show my ass to the draft.

Which, by the way, we will still be drafting top 9 when it is all said and done. Plenty of talent to work with and continue building on our team.

3.5 games separate us from the bottom. Admittedly, that would be ultra-tough to reach the Grizzlies awfulness. But keep in mind the teams between #1 and #9 and anything can happen, not to mention lottery balls.

Have fun with it. Stop being so negative.

This is why I dont worry about draft position and follow college players. It makes the season even worse. Ive seen Ayton play and thats it. And I never thought wed be drafting one or two so its pointless to get worked up.
