antonio davis would definitely be a nice addition. but i'm not sure he'd be an all-star in the western conference. if he's playing 4, there's just too much talent at that position in the west

Obviously Finley will repeat as an all-star. Dirk might even be elected to the team because of Barkley yapping so much about Dirk not making the team last year. Regardless, Dirk's talent will make it impossible to ignore him again. Steve Nash MIGHT make it - 50/50 chance.

If Fin and Dirk make it, I doubt Nash gets the nod as well. Just out of curisoity, how many teams have had three reps at the All-Star game at one time before?

It will be close for fin, just like it was close this year for him.
if his numbers slide again all the way around like they pretty much did this year, then he won't be in the all-star game. if they don't slide, actually improve a bit, then he might get in.
it's going to be close, the west is very talented
nothing against finley, the west is just talented.
if dirk and fin both get in, there's no way nash gets in. the same way, if nash and dirk get in, i don't think fin would get the nod.
it's hard to get three in from the same team.

how many guards does the all-star team carry?
now, how many very good guards are there in the west?
as you can see, it's gonna be tough for fin to make it if he has the same type of season next year....which was, a very good season

It won't suprise me if BOTH Fin and Dirk make it but I think Dirk has the better opportunity.

No way Nash makes it IMO.

Well I hate to admit this but I will anyway. Dirk could possibly be voted in as a starter with all the publicity he's getting. That's by the fans. However Fin will DEFINATELY be voted in as a reserve if the team is winning, there's no doubt. Nash won't get the nod I don't think.

DJ, I know Boston did one year
Parrish
McHale
Bird

I think the Lakers did a few times.
Worthy
Magic
Kareem

Didn't the Mavericks do it once with Rolando, Acguire and Donaldson?

i wouldn't think that nash would make it either, but he does have an outside shot to make it.
finley, well, he'll be close.
he will have to pick up his game a bit this coming year though.
shoot better, get to the line more, rebound a bit better, that will help him make it back to the all-star game

Once again your thinking is hilarious. Nash has a chance but for Fin it will be close to make it. His overall statistics are better than Nash's and there's no doubt it will be next year also, but it will be tough for Fin and there's a chance for Nash. Makes sense to me!

Amazing.

yeah, nash has a chance, a very slight chance.
i didn't say he had a better chance to make the team than finley..read my post before commenting. if you don't understand a word, look it up in a dictionary.

of course finley has a better shot of making the all-star team than nash.
i think finley is probably 50-50 on whether or not he gets in next year.
i think nash has a shot of getting into the game, but not much of one

I'm under the impression that the NBA will expand the All-Star teams by 2 players for each squad for next year. That's why I gave Nash a 50/50 chance.

If they expanded the teams, then the vets should sit to give the young players and home town favourites a good run.

Yes Finley has a 50/50 chance, that makes sense.
