Robinson is one of the best 4-5 centers in the game, but he will have to take a paycut to remain with the Spurs.

Robinson will remain a Spur for sure. I don't see anything wrong with asking him to take a pay cut, didn't Duncan?

I think Duncan got the max, but I'm not sure.

Wasn't Orlando offering Duncan more money? But, Robinson came home early from vacation to talk Duncan into returning to the Spurs? That's the paycut I was talking about. Robinson should take a paycut so they can resign Derek Anderson.

The Magic can't offer any more than the Max. I don't think the Spurs need Drob to take a paycut so they can re-sign Derek Anderson, I think it would be a more 'help us stay profitable' move. Anderson has bird rights I would imagine.
