I'm a Believer
I've doubted this guy ever since he came in and replaced Tommy Maddox early last season. But, Ben Rothlisberger somehow continues to amaze me every single week. What is he now, a rediculous 17, 18, 19, 20-1 as a starter? I know he's has only lost one game in his career which came two weeks at the hands of New England. But, week in and week out, he finds a way to get a win for the Steelers. He made a believer out of me tonight. He doesn't do anything spectacular, nothing flashy, nothing that will make you rewind your Tivo, he just wins. Unbelievable. I hope his injury isn't too serious.

That would be the fastest recovery from a torn ACL in history! He really must be superman!

RE:I'm a Believer
Before the Cowboys faced Pittsburg last season Rothlisberger had only played in four games and had only thrown for more then 200 yards once yet in the week leading up to the game, Bill Parcells called him the best rookie QB since Marino. At that point I figured he might be pretty good.
Did anybody see the play where he was injured last night? There's no doubt in my mind that that sorry ass Louis Castillo, probably in a fit of roid rage, rolled into the QB's knee on purpose...I can't believe they didn't mention it during the broadcast.

RE:I'm a Believer
I thought going low like that was illegal. If he has a torn acl which i dont think he does he wont be back in 6 weeks. He can play. The thing is he came into a perfect situation and didnt screw it up, which has to count for something.

RE: I'm a Believer
it's called losing to the Raiders and Skins(despite their empty record)...and needing a miracle to beat the 9ners....
