GDT: Jazz @ Mavericks 11/03/09 7:30 CST
Second night of a back to back for Utah, and their starters played heavy minutes last night and still lost.
Let's step on their throats early.
Go Mavs!

Time delay update
On last Sunday the Daylight Saving Time for most US citizens has ended.
So games start as usual.
ET --> CET (MEZ) : 6 hours
CST --> CET (MEZ) : 7 hours

a very dangerous game...
jazz played a horrendous 4th quarter last night, turning a tight game with only 3 pts down after 3 quarters into a complete rout by a rocket team that lost their top three scorers from last season. the fans literally booed the team off the court after the game. that does not happen very often in salt lake.
sloan may have lost some of his magic the last couple of years, but i believe he'll make sure his squat play hard, physical, and, i might add, dirty for tonight's game.
i hope mavs pulled out a win, and, importantly, do so without anyone getting hurt.

No way the Jazz win tonight. Last nights game here in Salt Lake was flat out pathetic! This Jazz team is not like the teams of the past. They are very soft. I don't see this game even being close. Mavs by 11.

I dont know if that was a good thing, just remember our Wiz game and then the Lakers. Im pretty sure Sloan and the players will have today before the game a serious talk.
I also dont get why they suck so much, they are all healthy and all players on board...
Dangerous team.

Or how about even last nights game for that matter and that was at home. : )

I have a hard time disliking alot of teams. Even against the Spurs I usually want us to have an exciting close game, where we win by a few hard fought points, and everyone had a good clean game. Against Utah though I want to crush them. I want to destroy them and make them cry.

Tim McMahon is supposed to be doing a chat right now at ESPN: Dallas. He posted this a few minutes ago:
Quote:
Hey, folks, thanks for joining me. Sorry, but I've got to put the chat on hold for about 15 minutes while I work on a breaking news story.
|
Now McMahon doesn't just write about the Mavs over there, so maybe it's nothing. Just thought it was interesting.

Did that news ever break?
At this point, I'm assuming it wasn't Mavs-related...

Boozers off court issues is taking it's toll and I think they will have a mediocre year, very inconsistent. Lets just hope Millsap doesn't go off for 20-10. Our guys have just got to put in a workman like game tonight, out work them. I second Ross on Williams.

LOL at all the AK haters. I hate him as well and I live in Utah. You guys would be surprised at how many real Utah fans hate AK and his flopping.
I'm a huge Jazz fan but a bigger Mavs fan. When the Jazz play any other team, I cheer for them. When the Mavs are in town, I'm all for the Mavs. Don't ask me how this works cause it still boggles my mind as well. haha!
Once again, this should be an easy win for the Mavs. This Jazz team is soft and they look lost out there. They got absolutely killed by an undersized Rockets team last night.
Here's my prediction, DWill has a big game but not big enough to get a W for the Jazz. Turnovers will be the key to this game tonight. Boozer will not be a factor, Millsap most likely will.
Dirk will have a big game due to the fact that there's not a good match up for Utah to handle him. Possibly AK on him and Dirk will not have a problem with that.

The first game of 2 tests, and I wonder how Ross can handle a waterbug like Williams. I'm definitely expecting this to be a tight game, especially with our Offense having yet to show up.
