There's about a 99% chance we win this game. There's just some games where I know we'll win, and this is definitely one of them. If we find a way to lose this to OJ Mayo's Bucks... then we're gonna be in for a LONNGG depressing season

Losses away from home to Houston, OKC and Minnesota don't really concern me all that much. At some point, though, if you want to be a playoff team, you have to find a way to get some wins in hostile arenas, and second night of a back-to-back or not there really would be no excuse for the team failing to secure their first road win of the season tonight.

This sounds like a typical .500 team message board.
So depressing.

Poor you. Your NBA team is (maybe) a .500-ish caliber team. Boo hoo.

You know, there's a lot of distance between "happy" and "wahh wahh this is 'so depressing' this message board sounds like one for a .500 team."

I'm ecstatic with their record. I think they are possibly the single greatest squad in the history of James Naismith's orange roundball sport.
Does that answer your question?

I'm just not sure why you're (and a few others) so worried about being a .500 team six games into the season.

I'm not worried, but getting comfortable with losing is usually the beginning of the end...
You accept road losses vs. good teams, then you accept road losses and then you end up mentally like Chris Kaman...

What does this have to do with anything? Are you currently laboring under the impression that either myself, LD, dhws, or Chris Kaman play for the Mavs?

I'm hoping that this is still the case

If the organization's competitive drive won't bend to the anti-will of Chris Kaman, I think it's pretty safe to assume a few road losses at the start of the season aren't going to do it in either.

Jose really feelin' it from downtown since the last game. I think he luckily has found out of his shooting slump. Good for the team.
