DeMarcus Cousins Went On Profane Tirade Against George Karl
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap...st-George-Karl
Quote:
DeMarcus Cousins directed a profanity-laced tirade toward George Karl following the Sacramento Kings' loss this week to the San Antonio Spurs.
Karl wanted Cousins suspended for two games for the incident.
Vlade Divac said Karl did not have authority to suspend Cousins nor would he grant permission.
“There’s a lot of B.S. out there,” Divac said. “I’d just rather not comment on it.”
The Kings have a 1-7 record.
Players have become more frustrated over Karl's style during their six-game losing streak.

Too bad the cupboard is almost bare here. Would love to nab Boogie.
No way Anderson, Powell, Zaza, Devin and future picks gets it done. Some other team can offer more. They'll fire Karl soon anyway and double down on Cousins.

Amazing end of game sequence in Sac. Sac announcers, one of whom is Doug Christie the other two are senile old men- a terrible team, falling over themselves to praise Rondo who just secured a triple double with a long rebound with 10 secs left. 111-107 Sac leads. Rondo airballs the first ft. Misses the second. Nets pass to bogdanovic in the corner who hits a 3. Rondo narrowly avoids fouling him TWICE on the same shot- grazes him on the way by and then tries to block the shot and almost hits his elbow on the way back! Definite body contact but no call. On review it's called a two.
Sac leads 111-109. About 1.8 secs left. Sac announcers say you've gotta let Rondo inbound this. So smart, great passer, etc. Rondo can't get it in so he throws it off of the defender, only the ball bounces off Rondo. Nets ball. Nets inbound from 3 quarter court. Long pass along the sideline which rondo tips out of bounds. If he'd let it go MAYBE Alan Anderson can catch it- it's very high and nearly out of bounds. Wouldve been nearly impossible for him to catch and shoot in 1.6. Instead nets have the ball with chance to win. CauleyStein tips Wayne Ellington's terrible inbounds pass, Rondo steal, game.
Sorry for the long winded minutae. Had to post couldn't believe my eyes. Rondo did all he could to muck things up. Never seen such a dumb 10secinds of basketball. Not a smart player. What a fraud.

Man, Rockets just aren't good. Down 19 against the Celtics
Harden -27 despite shooting 4-7 from three and 4-4 from FT stripe
Thomas blowing by Lawson and Crowder absolutely destroying Harden. A few times Harden just stepped out of the way and gave the refs a dirty look in the middle of a defensive play. Just sad.

How the hell does Dwight Howard have only 4 shot attempts in 30 minutes?? Pairing him with Harden has been an absolute waste of his offensive talents.

Yeah, I should have come up with something better than "talents"...
Howard has enough size and athleticism to be a presence around the basket, but it's never utilized, because in order to do that he has to operate in Harden's flop zone. They're just a bad fit.

Dwight could basically be superpowered Tyson or DAJ if he had the patience to pick and roll every possession... he's so strong, so athletic that he could average 30PPG on putbacks and pick and roll dunks alone.
I'm really hoping this season goes downhill fast for the Rockets so Dwight opts out and the Mavs get another chance at signing him. I think a truly talented disciplinarian like Carlisle could maximize Dwight's full potential.

I'm really not concerned about what Rick can do with Howard and very much concerned about his continued health issues. He just has one thing after another.

Houston is fucked...Harden gives a f*ck, Dwight as usual just wanna have fun, the coach is a muppet and behind it is a self-loving statistic nerd.
Houston lead 53-40 and then Boston went on a 63-22 run

Howards back is done and it wont get any better
Howard is going to opt out so he can sign a new four or 5 year max contract. And i have no intention to see a 34-35y old Howard sitting in a tux on the bench and collecting 25-30m.
If we are going hard after a big the order is Hassan, Horford and Dwight. But no max for Dwight.

Woj- The Houston Rockets fired coach Kevin McHale, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
Woj- J.B. Bickerstaff, will become interim head coach, league sources tell Yahoo. Assistant Chris Finch will become associate head coach.
Woj- Grueling decision for Rockets, who extended McHale year ago and think the world of as a man.
Sad day, for NBA fans everywhere, that we have one less joke to tell about the Rockets.

Not surprised... McHale is obviously the reason why Houston is slumping -- he's shooting 37% from the field and 26% from beyond the arc... You just can't have a coach who shoots that bad and expect to win games in this league.

There is an interesting tweet that explains how McHale saved the Clippers series in game 5 by benching Harden.
I didn't think he was a good coach, but to have the Rockets just totally quit on him to start the season after making it to the WCF is pathetic. No class in that organization whatsoever.

They had gotten better every year with McHale as a coach. Hell they had a 4 game winning streak at the beginning of the month. He took them to the WCF last year. While I agree with most that he was not a great coach it's pretty sad that the organization gave up on him so quickly.

The players quit on McHale, it was pretty obvious. SPECIALLY Harden.
But McHale wasnt really the problem (even considering he isnt a great coach). The problem is the holy Morey with his Moreyball crap. Morey told that a coach is maybe good for

But see now Ty Rondo Lawson and James Khardashian Harden run the team. If they don't suddenly become superstars, then that org is no better than the Sixers.

I think a 4-7 start is WAY TOO premature to fire any coach. Now that being said, it's the Rockets. So whatever hurts their bottom line is cool with me.

Yeah, seeding doesn't matter AT ALL this early in the season... Hell, the Mavs were in 10th place after the loss in NO, only to land in 3rd place after a short 4-game win streak.
4-7 is an easy hole to climb out of... Players quitting on a coach this early in the season is a much, much bigger concern -- that locker room has some character issues.

@BillSimmons: the only two people who could shut down McHale were Mychal Thompson and Khloe Kardashian.

No coach can hide Harden on defense. The guy is simply unwilling to give any effort on that end of the ball. He is the softest player to ever play the game of basketball...

So McHale finally got canned.
LOL FU Harden. Doesnt matter what coach they have, Harden will be his same selfish baby, and Howard will always continue being just a baby. I see their season being even more chaotic now. Theyll probably come out strong a few games because of the firing, but theyll regress back to what we've been seeing thus far.
EDIT Oops wrong board

The problems the Rockets have will not be fixed just by changing coaches.

Hmmm.... weird... firing McFail didn't change Harden shooting 5-17(currently) and 3-11 from 3.
