How do I catch this gecko?
I have this gecko in my bathroom and it's too fast for me to grab it by its tail. All I can do right now is just keep it under the upside down glass.
How could I capture it so I can throw it outside?

Wait for it to die. That was easy.

I don't like to kill stuff. Besides, I just ran over one one my bike today, I think I've done enough.
Its gonna die anyway if its stuck in my house like the last one did; I just saw it lying dead in my living room, so I threw it outside.

Several years ago on the Autobahn i drove straight over a rat. It makes a grim tune.
But we can learn something sensible from any thread and post, so hereĀ“s my suggestion

Well there might not be any suggestions from anyone else tonight, and it will probably be dead by morning. So you might as well accept the only suggestion you have.

Well, it's trapped right in front of my toilet, so it's gonna have to watch me pee. Oh well. Sucks for him.

Slide a piece of paper/cardboard under the glass so you can pick it up and release it outside...

This reminds me of a great prank:
1. Fill a cup with water and wet the rim
2. Place paper on top of rim
3. Carefully and quickly flip the cup+paper over
4. Slide paper out from under the cup and leave

i have to try that.
My favorite one i used to do is this:
1) got to McDonald's (or any other place that has the plastic-bottomed salt shakers - has to be salt, no one uses pepper at McDonald's)
2) Stand a nickel up on its side (has to be a nickel - only one that will stand)
3) Slam the salt shaker (bottom-side down) onto the nickel, and leave the salt shaker there
4) Hide in the shadows and watch the next person try to salt their fries...
5) Laugh Maniacally

He solved his foreign policy problem the same way America will for the next 8 years. Avoiding confrontation and hoping for dumb luck.
Well played, sir. Well played.

That is kind of what I said to myself before I pulled the cup from over it.
I'm like, "I'm just gonna open this up and hope for the best. Hell, maybe I can catch him with my bare hands."

Then I guess it's time to go scorched-earth and throw in a quip about what a mistake Harris-for-Kidd was.

Also, Dick Cheney = Otis Smith
(see Robert Downy Jr in 'Tropic Thunder' for further details...)

Keep him under the upside down glass and slide a rather stiff piece of paper under it. Say a pull out card from a magazine. You can then pick it up, turn it over and put it outside.
We've got a plethora of geckos and they are mighty tiny. Good for you saving 'em, they are bug eaters and the more bug eaters the better.

By the way, the answer to the original question is tell the Gecko he could save 15% or more on car insurance.

Thanks to Global Warming once the Gecko was released into the polluted environment it was doomed to death.
How about the rights of plants and the insects the Gecko will destroy.
Is it time to call on the ACLU to protect the lives of the innocents?

I have set up 12 glasses upside down filled with water in my kitchen. They have been sitting there for 3 days now. I think she's caught on to me...

I'd eat a lot of mexican food and maybe some cabbage, then drink a few cups of coffee and a bran muffin and let the mixture percolate as long as possible. I'd then grab a newspaper and maybe a consumer guide magazine or some other high-brow reading....shut the door, throw some towels down around the door to seal off all outside air.
15, 20 minutes top the little freaking gecko would be begging me to let it out.
