The dirkster is going to look pretty swanky strutting around with two championship rings adorning his Teutonic shooting hand!

It's really nice that the Mavs finally come to Germany this october. But Berlin is really a bad choice... cologne has the bigger and better arena. And it would really draw more fans than Berlin with all the german league teams located not far away from cologne.

There will be 5000 VIP's (fat politicians and their families) 9000 fans and most of them probably Greeks and Turks lol.
MAVS should play Auf Schalke.
The MAVS could easily draw 30.000 fans. (Also from Holland with a good promotion)
ANd the game should not be against ALBA but against an "ALL german league" team.

Didn't the Veltins Arena set some record for Ice Hockey a couple of years ago?
Just go ahead and play in Westfalenstadion I say.

Mavs coming to Berlin aka my home town?
Calling it now: All board members going to the Berlin game get a free pre-game beer at my bar.
2nd thoughts: As the arena has 13k seats, I reevaluate my first thought and make that a 100 free beers.

Sounds great
I remember us talking about the opening way back in January of last year - so how's the bar business going in general? (It's located somewhere in Neukölln, isn't it?)
ontopic:
The O2 World in Berlin is probably the best basketball arena in Europa (aside from it's equivalent in London) and by faaar the best choice they could've made.

Yep..the Mavs likely to drop 1 of 2. But, maybe they can find some cheap starters while on their European tour.

No truth to the rumor that the Mavs game in Spain will be during the intermission of a bullfight.
