The Spurs better whoop our azz this time. We are one game away from Philly. Hopefully that Magic loss put a fire under their behind.

After loss to Magic, and how Pop reacted to barely beating the Mavs last time, I expect the Mavs to lose BIG. (Or win, however you want to put it)

A 50 pt loss and a 1pt loss all get us where we're going.

10 points would be preferable(Spurs are -9.5). That way I can profit off of watching this mess of a season.

It's hard to believe we've come to a point where we wish for 1pt losses to top tier teams but I think the majority of us feel that way now.
Mainly just want to see progress from our youngsters and if that progress comes in the form of a win once in awhile I'm ok with that.

Dirk - out until at least 12/5
Deron - questionable
JJB - no timeline
Harris will most likely play for the first time this season

Wild West Battle between two of the otter Texas teams... If the the San Antonio one lost to the lowly Magicians last night, one can easily conclude that the Dallas one will get an otter W tonight...
Mavs - 103
Spurrz - 99

They just lost to the Magic, expect an angry Spurs squad. 110-87. I'll let you guess who wins.

Hell of a lot closer than I expected this game to be, but apparently Mills decided he doesn't want to lose to the Mavs tonight.

Why did Rick put in Gibson instead of putting back in Curry? The tank is out of the shop.

God is a Mavs fan. He sprained Curry's knee, which is why he didn't return

Carlisle is low key in on the tank...inserts Gibson with 2 min left. He proceeds to turn the ball over, and shoot a defended 3.

Good. I want us to start building 10 point leads. I also want losses. This is perfect.

One can hope! Man a top 10 or 12 protected pick would be amazing. Even if it rolls over for a year or two

"Mavs SG Wesley Matthews after a tough loss to the Spurs: "I'm proud of this team. Frustration aside, a loss aside, this is two games now [against the Spurs] that we truly feel, at least I truly feel, should have been ours against a championship team. This fight that we're showing, this is who we were supposed to be all along. Unfortunate injuries here and there, all over the place, it seems like, I think we struggled with an identity. This is who we're supposed to be. This is who we were meant to be. We're fighting every possession. It's fun playing basketball like that." (Tim MacMahon)
If he keeps playing like this would it not be in line with what they are looking for up in Minnesota for Wiggins? Or am I just dreaming crazy thoughts again.

That would be fantastic... But, not trading him is alright too if he keeps playing at this level.
I've got no problem with Wes if he's playing up to his contract. Dude has the right attitude and solid defense, just needs to keep hitting his shot.

Yeah if he keeps playing like this, I dont want him to leave. Hes sticking it out on a horrible team who wont make the playoffs. When the mavs are good again, he has every right to be here. He is a leader flat out.

I hate to break it to you, but these last two games are the only two good games he's had all season. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for Wes to succeed, but he's been so bad for so long that a couple of games isn't going to do it for me. I need to see at least a solid half-season of basketball from him. If that happens this year, then great. It would be a nice problem to have if the MBT had to decide between keeping a productive Wes or trading him for a protected top 12 first.
