Trade everyone over 30 for prospects. Reload for 2 to 3 years from now.

keep palmeiro though
he's a good interview.
trade caminiti and put catalanoto at third and let him learn to play the position. that guy can hit. and he's quick with a good enough arm. let him learn to play third

I hear the team is now exploring trade options involving Pudge (to get some decent pitching)? What do you all think about that?

Absolutly Hate it. Why trade Ivan for more pitching prospects? We got enough already. Sign Pudge and explore trades with the Big Cat, Velarde, and Caminiti. We got good and in some cases great pitching prospects in the minors.

I don't care how many pitching prospects we have. You can never have too much pitching. Look at Atlanta - they can trade excess pitching for everything else.

pudge is probably my favorite ranger, but at this point, i would have to say if you get a good deal with 3-4 good pitching prospects, make the trade. you have to.
the rangers pitching prospects are in most cases 2-3-4 years away.
that's too long.
and many of those won't pan out.

Here's a good article about the Rangers and the trades they might do.
