Default GDT: Mavs @ Raptors February 27th - 5:00 CST/6:00 EST

The Dallas Mavericks are riding a 5-game winning streak and they have won 16 of their last 18 games. They make their lone appearance in Toronto to take on the Raptors. Four of Dallas’ next five opponents currently have records at or below .500, and two of those contests are against last-place clubs.

With the 105-99 victory over Washington on 2/26, Dallas recorded its 20th road win of the season. Dallas is now 20-8 (.714) away from home. Only San Antonio has a higher winning percentage on the road (21-8, .724).

Dallas is 10-3 in the first half of back-to-backs and 8-4 in the second half of back-to-backs this season. The Mavericks have 20 back-to-backs scheduled this year, after they played 20 in 2009-10. Dallas went 15-5 in the first game of a back-to-back and 12-8 in the second game of a back-to-back in 2009-10.

The Mavericks have won 11 of the last 14 meetings with the Raptors, but Toronto has taken the last two. The Mavericks are 19-10 all-time against the Raptors. Dallas is 12-3 all-time at home against the Raptors, but only 7-7 all-time on the road. The teams split the season series last year with the home teams winning each game. Jason Terry recorded 18 points, four rebounds and six assists in the loss to Toronto earlier this season. Dirk Nowitzki was inactive due to a sprained right knee.

I was disappointed with Roddys minutes yesterday. As pointed out in the PGT it seems like Roddy only has 6 minutes a half to really show Carlisle that he is worth more playing time. With this approach it could be difficult to get him into any kind of flow. Its like the chicken or egg dilemma. Do he need more playing time to get going or first has to show improvements to earn more playing time?

You don't wanna fool around with the upcoming schedule but with a lot of subpar opponents in it I think Carlisle should consider putting him out 25 minutes a night no matter what.

Anyway ... might actually be even harder than yesterday for us. We allow 46.4 Points in the Paint over the Last 10, which is really worrisome. Washington averages under 40 a game and dropped 50 on us yesterday. Toronto ranks 3rd with over 45 a game. With assumably a lot of easy baskets coming their way it will be even harder to seperate and/or maintain a lead.

I think Roddy will have a good game (at least 15 points, a few assists and rebounds) this game.

I'm not disappointed with Roddys minutes yesterday, he played terrible and it was close game.
Raptors are suckers, just destroy them!
Hope tonight not only Chandler will finish lob from Kidd.

Dirk Nowitzki enters the game against the Raptors with exactly 22,222 career points.
