Some nice draft day pictures... actually, the captions are what makes them.

Rudy's career:
FG% = 39%
3PT% = 36%
FT% = 85%
RPG = 2.5
APG = 2.2
SPG = 1.0
TO = 1.13
PPG = 9.1

Anybody really think a rookie, from this class, has the possibility to put up #'s anywhere close to those with this veteran team? I think the trade is a winner.

Plus, this:
#16 in NBA in FT%
#41 in steals per game
#35 in 3pt FGs made
#50 in steals
#12 in steals per TO
#14 in 3pt FG per 48 mins
#15 in NBA in steals per 48 mins

Rudy F will contribute the moment he steps on the court this year...no #26 pick will.

And for whomever is saying the Mavs have been bad with the draft, here's the list of where they've picked since 2000:
2000 --12, 31, 58
2001 -- 43, 53
2002 -- 54
2003 -- 29, 57
2004 -- 50
2006 -- 28, 58
2007 -- 34, 50, 60
2008 -- 51
2009 -- 24, 56
2010 -- 50
2011 -- 26, 57

Now this is not taking into account any trades, but it's not like they've been anywhere near the lottery (barring trades) over the past decade.

Durn one top twenty. I thought devin was a number 5. Was that on a trade?

The #5 and Stack came in the Jamison trade.

Oh and whoever is complaining about the draft, what is wrong with you we just won a championship who cares who we drafted, how we drafted, who cares if the sun is actually purple? Not many teams win a championship with more players They drafted than we just did.
