50-40-90 Club
This article was published today “LeBron James' dream now on the line” on how he is tapping into Ray Allen’s shooting advice and more. (article at ESPN http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/mia...ow-on-the-line)
(the following below is from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/50%E2%8...2%80%9390_Club )
Since the NBA introduced the three-point field goal for the 1979–80 season, the 50–40–90 shooting threshold has only been reached by five players: Steve Nash, Larry Bird, Mark Price, Reggie Miller and Dirk Nowitzki. Nash and Bird are the only players who achieved 50–40–90 in multiple seasons; Bird achieved it twice consecutively and Nash achieved it four times in five seasons. Nash narrowly missed achieving 50–40–90 five seasons in a row by shooting at 89.9% from the free throw line in the 2006–07 season.

Damn, that nashie sure can shoot. A lot of folks say Kobe at the end of games scared them, not me, it was always nashie.

agreed. Nash won most of the "end of practice" shooting games against Dirk. I think he should shoot more in Mike Dan and Tony's offense.

And a better than 4-to-1 A/TO ratio. He might be a poor defender, and he might get overpaid this summer, but he is absolutely one of the most offensively efficient basketball players in existence.
