I honestly think I'd trade Wes for Chandler Parsons, and I can't stand that guy.

We should be reminded that the Mavs are a bad team so that people don't try too hard to get their hopes up.

I will say again. I like Matthews and he has good intentions but he doesn't nothing for us except hurt us. I would look to get anything I can for him.

At this point it's more likely we would have to give up something to get rid of him.

Man, first quarter we looked like a 4-6 seed. 2nd and 3rd were looking like a 4-5Th overall pick

Mavs could win this if they focus on trying to get Barnes to score first. Shots will open up then.

I'd also like to see Curry look for his shot more. Dude needs to watch film from when JET played.

I really think a combo of Brussino and Barnes could win this game to help the offense.

Anderson could be our best player...
..if we are shooting for a high draft pick.

I'm surprised Finney-Smith wasn't a first round pick thus far.

Carlisle should have left Brussino out there instead of too many guards.

Why? He didn't do squat while he was in there.

I'm just sad we messed up that losing streak by winning two.

Well Barea is having a career season at least. Barnes was a good pickup. Could be decent next year with a high draft pick.

Assuming he finishes his career here does Barea get his number retired?

How much longer can we put up with Matthews playing like this? Its only game 10...
And Anderson REALLY needs to find a new part of his game. The 3s arent it and I knew his senior season was an outlier.

Would have liked to see Acy get some more burn this game with Anderson struggling as much as he did tonight.

Also there is a wild rumor with GS/Boston concerning Mr. Klay. Maybe the Mavs can get in on something and make a 3 team deal.

Well our options are limited on offense with no Dirk and Dwill. First half Barnes was 7-13 in 19 mins. 2nd half he was 1-4 in 16mins. How he only has 4 shot attempts in 16 mins when we have nobody else outside of jj who can score consistently is beyond me. 2 of those misses were halfway down before popping out so it's not like he was ice cold.

They can trade down in to the lower twenties and pick up a couple of extra second rounders along the way. Then, use the second rounders on guys for Donnie's Legends.

Dirk is done and Deron is a net negative. Good scorer, just doesn't fit our system and is a net negative when you compare his offense to defense.
This just isnt a competitive team with the old guys. With the young guys hustling they can win 20-30. Plus there's some upside.

I know that bench players fight to get playtime minutes, but that was ridiculous!

Oh yes. That way they end up with 3-5 guys instead of just one even if none are in the NBA in five years. I like your thinking. It's basically like multiplying draft picks because 5 guys who are rated 30 on an NBA video game are better than one 90.

But hey, we went down 22, but only ended up down 16 so there's that.
Also, Rick said the better team is the team that comes out strong in the first. We won that quarter by 8. We were garbage for the other three quarters, but we're the better team according to Rick.
24th in pt differential. Top-6 pick here we come!

So are we at the point where GDT "hot thread" approach is for losses instead of wins?

Multiplying draft picks, lowering the salary cap impact, and delivering a d league championship. They will also be able you use the extra $5000.00 in cap space to offer a better contract to the next FA that turns us down.
BTW. This only works if they are able to locate the Shane Larkin gem of this draft. I have faith that they will find him, though.

Matthews is hot garbage which is exactly how you get a top 7 pick.

Same 'ol song with Simba. All strength, no coordination. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. This loss isn't his fault, IMO if he was on a good team where his strengths were accentuated he might be OK, but his offensive development has been disappointing to say the least.
