Come on guys dont hate on Howard right now. Its one thing calling him out when hes messing up on healthy ankles. But hes playing with a lot of pain and we have to respect him for that. He still is one of our best defenders even with the injury.

I don't know why everybody is looking at this game because it's only gonna make you mad that's why I'm not looking at.....the Finals are gonna have low ratings if it's Cavs vs. Nuggets anyway.

I'm getting really tired of the color commentator's subtle, quasi-sexual groans whenever a Nugget player makes a nice shot. You have to really listen for it underneath the Play-by-Play guy's call, but it's there.

Nice energy from Howard.

Well, like always, I watch it on my DVR so I can forward thru commercials and free-throws and such.

My analysis so far:

Damp getting the offensive foul when Melo hits his face on his shoulder. I watched it about 10 times, watching Damp step into position, feet planted, and then Melo doesn't know he is there, and takes a hard step to his right to follow the ball...right into Damp's shoulder. <whistle> How is that an offensive foul? It was a 100% clean pick.

Wright vs Melo - should have been a double technical. Melo should have gotten a flagrant. how can you not notice him hitting Wright in the face (his pinky definitely distorted Wright's cheek).

Terry shoved JR hard on a pass inside. I don't remember who he passed to, but Terry did an obvious push that wasn't called.

Dirk shooting over Nene from the free throw line. Nene didn't touch him, but they called a foul.

Tech and Flagrant at nearly the end of the half. Terry barely touched him, Howard was in the way. Nothing at all flagrant about any contact, if anything the contact between Mavs was the hardest hit.

Last play of the half. Nugget drives, misses the shot, but must have gotten 3-4 fouls from different Mavs (Howard, Terry, and Dirk). Melo got the tip in, no whistle.

That was my official "WTF" report on the refs for the first half.
