The 2002 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game puts celebrities and amateurs
together for an authentic 60 pmh baseball game. Wooden bats, mlp
baseballs, uniforms & umps. The real deal.
This 'ain't no sissy softball game...
Celebs playing: NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, Mark Cuban, Mike
Modano, Hollywood Showman Tom Arnold, CBS' Craig James, Saturday Night
Live's Colin Quinn, Tony Dorsett, Phoenix Suns' Shawn Marion, Houston
Rockets' Cuttino Mobley, Kirk Muller, The Ticket's Hardline Mike Rhyner
and Greg Williams, & Michael Finley! Pittsburgh Pirates' Dave Parker and Cincinnati Red's George Foster are the managers of the game.
so we've got the celebs and a bunch of amateurs playing together.
Should be a blast!
The Ticket is broadcasting live from the event and HD.Net is filming the
game in high definition and will re-broadcast the game on TV.

Foundation has 12 inner city kids, 12 north dallas kids and 12 euless
kids (8-9 year olds) playing a 40 mph machine pitch game. The kid
(actually twin brothers, Cole and Dylan Sprouse) from the tv show
Friends, from the movie Big Daddy and a new Tom Hanks movie are playing
too.
The Home Run Derby presented by Arrow Trucking will showcase the
celebrity and amateur bats for a hitting contest.
There's magicians, face painters, jugglers and all..... All the above
followed by The 2002 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game.
The event benefits The Mike Modano Foundation and Gilda's Club.
June 15th at the Parks at Texas Star (13 minutes from the Crescent)
Tickets are $19.50 and the proceeds benfit the charities 100%. Park
opens at noon and the festivities begin thereafter.
