Default Iverson

Kidd should stay put in NJ with Carter, but that could change depending on Carter's health
Iverson has to be sick of losing and would love a change of scenery...and what do you know, the mavs don't have a point guard

Dallas trades: PF Alan Henderson (3.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 0.4 apg in 14.0 minutes)
SG Jerry Stackhouse (14.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.4 apg in 29.9 minutes)
Tariq Abdul-Wahad (No games yet played in 2004/05)
PG Devin Harris (7.1 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 2.6 apg in 19.6 minutes)

Dallas receives: SG Allen Iverson (26.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 7.4 apg in 41.0 minutes)
Glenn Robinson (No games yet played in 2004/05)

Change in team outlook: +1.3 ppg, -4.9 rpg, and +2.0 apg.

Philadelphia trades: SG Allen Iverson (26.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 7.4 apg in 41.0 minutes)
Glenn Robinson (No games yet played in 2004/05)

Tariq Abdul-Wahad (No games yet played in 2004/05)

Change in team outlook: -1.3 ppg, +4.9 rpg, and -2.0 apg

With this trade, you could use the following lineup but Daniels or Terry would still be lost in the rotation

pg - iverson/terry
sg - finley/daniels
sf - howard/daniels
pf - dirk/booth
c - damp/bradley/mbenga

OR

Dallas trades: PG Jason Terry (9.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 3.4 apg in 24.0 minutes)
C Calvin Booth (2.1 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.2 apg in 8.6 minutes)
Tariq Abdul-Wahad (No games yet played in 2004/05)
SG Jerry Stackhouse (14.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.4 apg in 29.9 minutes)

Dallas receives: Glenn Robinson (No games yet played in 2004/05)
SG Allen Iverson (26.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 7.4 apg in 41.0 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +0.5 ppg, -3.4 rpg, and +1.4 apg.

Philadelphia trades: Glenn Robinson (No games yet played in 2004/05)
SG Allen Iverson (26.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 7.4 apg in 41.0 minutes)

Philadelphia receives: PG Jason Terry (9.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 3.4 apg in 24.0 minutes)

Tariq Abdul-Wahad (No games yet played in 2004/05)
SG Jerry Stackhouse (14.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.4 apg in 29.9 minutes)

Change in team outlook: -0.5 ppg, +3.4 rpg, and -1.4 apg

lineups..

pg - iverson/daniels/armstrong/harris
sg - finley/daniels
sf - howard/finley
pf - dirk/henderson
C - damp/bradley/mbenga

Robinson can be bought out or they can just let his contract expire..You get rid of Wahad and Stackhouse here along with Booth or Henderson(neither are playing significant minutes for the mavs)

Iverson has never played with a big man before(mutombo doesn't count). This change of scenery could do wonders for him.

You get an instant big 3 in iverson/dirk/finley..right now there isn't a big anything

For philly, wtih trade 1

they get the rookie point guard in harris who they can plug into the lineup right away along with a couple veterans in stackhouse and henderson

with trade 2,

They get an experienced pg in terry that they can use as well as booth and stackhouse...perhaps they can find a way to use wahad too

But Wahad has to be included if they want someone to take Robinson off their hands.
