Right, Nellie. I think now it's just a straight signing for Philly.

But I hadn't heard before (though I'm not surprised) that Dallas was actively trying to dump TAW's ridiculous contract--a move which I find encouraging, and which I heartily endorse.

On the downside, I think this directs Harpring away from the Mavs. I know that Lewis is the focus of their efforts right now, but I hope they don't put all of their attention on Lewis, who may or may not really be interested, and in so doing, let a very serviceable Harpring get away to someone else.

You're right though. Tough to believe anything until the dealing's done.
