Feeling a bit nostalgic today: an oldie-but-goodie, some beautiful atmospheric drum 'n' bass:
Seba - Camouflage
And this:
Junip - Without You
Junip - Rope and Summit

I was there... in 2011 at the final LCD show, in the Garden...
I was there... donning all black and white, like everyone else...
I was there... after spending $300 on a floor section concert ticket...
I was there... and I would've spent 3 times that amount, if need be...
I was there... and my legs were sore after dancing 4 hours straight...
I was there... and it was the most fun I've ever had at a concert.
R.I.P. LCD Soundsystem

Oklahoma's own Garth Brooks. First song on shuffle this morning, "The Thunder Rolls" followed by "Miami Vice Theme".

Sammy Walker's second album, his first for Warner Bros. Blood on the Tracks-style folk-rock instrumentation, with irreverent singer-songwriter material. I knew him from his earlier work with Phil Ochs. A very hit-or-miss album. "Catcher in the Rye" is good, but it stands out far above the other songs.

In the emotional turmoil that my life is these days, I just spent a whole trip on the night bus back home after a busy night at the bar with these gentlemen.
Took me only 50 manual repeats on my mobile to get back home.

Yes, they're still puttering around.
They quit the major label and went independent on this one.

I gave Watch the Throne one full listen last week and wasn't impressed. Sometimes songs take time to grow on me, though. Should I give it some more time?
