Man, I hate watching Tyreke Evans play basketball. That guy is going to albatross the development in Sac-Town.

Man, JJB-Rubio is going to be one hell of a fun duo to watch now and in the future.
JJB with a nice game in his wolves debut:
5-10, 14 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds
Rubio:
6 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals

Wolves might surprise some people this year.
Love, Beas, Williams, Rubio, JJB. Their weakest link is their starting backcourt (Ridnour, and more importantly, Wes Johnson).
Jimmer showing he can score in the bigs.

Wolves have lots of offensive talent but that defense is still beyond terrible. 25 win tops.

I said few times we should sign Rubio, but you talked about Calathes.

Just looking at the box, Derrick Favors went for 25-12 last night.

Man...that Denver team is balanced and deep as hell!
Lawson/Miller/Mozgov/Nene/Gallo
Afflalo (probably will start over Miller)/Rudy/Brewer/Al/Birdman/Koufos/Faried (rookie)
That's pretty impressive. They could be a top 4 seed.

Offense has never been a problem for them. Agree on the seeding, but they aren't up for a deep playoff run.

Yeah, I saw his name in the boxscore and had to click it to believe it. I was like, "B. Wells"...it can't be!

Also Adelman.
big CUSE fan and so have watched a lot of Wes Johnson. Said to my friends at the time he was there he has all the tools, does everything well, but nothing GREAT. Never developed anything resembling a go to move. Didnt seem to even have preferred spots on the floor. Has a tendency to coast and get by on his athleticism.
By all accounts he's a really nice kid and kind of "country". it may be he just doesn't have the fire ala Tim Thomas. Or he may be one of those guys that puts it all together in year 5 and settles in to a nice career as 2-3 wing version of Derrick McKey.

Favors looks prime for a breakout, Utah has one of the better group of bigs, but why do they keep drafting them in the draft? They really need guards, wouldn't be surprised to see them seek into 7/8 spot in the west tho.

Reports are the Brook Lopez has a stress fracture in his 5th metatarsal. That's the same injury Roddy had with about 100 extra pounds on the foot when he returns. This probably kills his trade value and any hope the Nets may have had for a decent season.

i think they've been going with best available, which is smart. cant have too many bigs.

Kobe tore a wrist ligament in his shooting hand....things just aren't going his or the Lakers' way lately haha I love it. That seems like an injury that could linger all season, kind of like the pinky injury from previously.
