There's nothing to scream about. The Mavericks are who we thought they were. And we let them off the hook.

Exactly. I'm not even angry anymore, I'm just starting to not care. This is what happens when you break up a championship team and replace them with guys that all know they won't be here next year. Don't get me wrong, I understand why Cubes did it, but when we look this bad it freakin hurts.

I doubt Cubes cares as well. He's sleeping with the O'Brien every night while dreaming of Dwight.

Again, nothing to scream at.
The Mavs are who we thought they were when Chandler was let go (good move).
The most I can hope for is a 1st round match up with OKC/SA, two teams that we hate and get an upset victory. Not making the playoffs would really be shitting the bed though.

check your logic there.
Are you saying Chandler, JJB, Butler and Stephenson could/would have netted Deron? If so, you need to do some reading.

This is the same idiot who thought Mark Cuban "lucked" his way into a ring...

Not saying that at all.
I'm saying Chandler could have been signed for cheap. Instead, we cleared out everything for "financial flexibility" when the new CBA kicked in, and now we're left holding nothing.
In seven months, we've eliminated five major contributors of the championship season, plus Caron Butler, and we're about to most likely fail at acquiring anything meaningful.
And no, Chris Paul isn't coming here next year either.
Cuban and Donnie accidentally won an NBA championship last year when Chandler failed a physical in OKC, then intentionally blew this thing up.

Chandler could have been had by amnesty-ing Haywood and kicking in 4 million. Should, coulda, woulda. Letting a top 5 center go was a mistake. Getting Howard and DWill was a pipe dream. Get one and its forgivable. Get none and its a screwup worse than losing Nash...right up there with the Sam Perkins deal. Sund was in Europe right? Mark is in Cali...

He absolutely did.
He had no idea Chandler would be what he was and wouldn't have gotten him if he didn't fail a physical in OKC. Haywood was still the guy.
LaFrentz, Van Horn, Dampier, Diop, Bradley, Haywood......that was what Cuban gave us inside for years. Then he FINALLY gets his guy on a lark, and then let's him walk for virtually nothing.
Cuban/Donnie brought excitement to the team, no doubt, but they've never signed a bigtime free agent, nor have they drafted anyone of note that they didn't get rid of.

Seriously. This guy is great. He needs more red boxes, as symbol of his greatness.

Cheap would have been the deal we offered Tyson. He didn't take it. Boo hoo. His contract right now would not be good for the Mavs future.
