Some amusing (meaningless) results from the annual rookie survey. Good to see the new guys' names pop up a few times.

He's gonna play fifteen years in this league.
Not as bullish on Cunningham's prospects. There's some bust potential there.

Point is, Crowder is a guy who is always going to have a place in this league. If his head is in the right place, he can play a long, long time. Like Shane Battier. Cunningham is a guy who needs to be very explosive (or be able to make the shot) in order to make it in the league. Chances are small. Three years from now he'll probably be gone. I hope not, but it is what it is.
James is a great public service story. Something of a Najera bit. I think he has value beyond that, though. I fully support him as a rotation player.
Hoping for a surprise from Cunningham. The other guys are already sure things.

Crowder's the most NBA ready on the front end, too, at least in my eyes.

Crowder strikes me as one of those gritty workhorses that the Spurs always seem to pick up because nobody else notices them.
I agree about Cunningham too, but maybe that's only because he looks like Gerald Green.

Green actually looked like he might have turned a corner with his time with the Nets last season. He was humbled and came back into the league with the right attitude. According to all accounts, Cunningham is a solid citizen with no real character issues or a sense of entitlement, unlike Green.

For a guy who's had pub since he was 14-15, Cunningham has really grown to look past it all. He gave a verbal to ASU around his freshman year in high school. His people really did a great job with him, keeping his head on straight. Hopefully he'll learn about things on and off the court with the likes of Mayo and Dirk around him.
