Kwame having his best game of the year and Malik Wayns throwing up a career high in points.
They must be playing the Mavericks.

I really hope this team lives up to his potential with Dirk...Dirk SHOULD give the offense so much more structure, space and opportunities.
Ah and they should all give Dirk allready parts of their paychecks

And good to see DoJo taking his chance as a starter...
At the moment this team has quality to win only against Was, Det and maybe against Cha and Sac at home.

Is there any veteran PG out there that we could get as a free agent? That's really the position that needs something. I mean something or anything!

I have a hard time seeing this team as putting up nothing more than lottery bound performances unless the pg play improves dramatically. I am not optimistic that Dirk is going to help it that much either

Mavs turn the ball over 6 straight times, try to rally furiously. It's maddening.

Due props to VC, though. Really impressive effort at the end there.

I'd say starting Dojo is the first step at bad coaching. It was actually Roddy who should have started based on the fact that he was the bet pg last game. I'm not advocating "free Roddy B", but the logic of Dojo starting really just isn't there. Dojo sucks as does most of the team.
And people can argue Wright, Murphy, whatever...it really isn't going to make the team play great. The team just isn't very good without Uber....bad coaching or not.

He has been my favorite Maverick this season thus far. Great attitude, great (and only) leadership, heart, veteran savvy, all there...

Im so p*ssed...
They just threw another win away. Six bonehead turnover in a row. Same time the refs with several garbage calls.
Wayns trying to pass and goes to the line for FT...
I still wanna now what this shotclock garbage was, i wouldnt be surprised if the clock guys hit the reset button on purpose in the right moment and cheated that way...

I'm also a big fan of VC.
But this is frustrating. This PG play is killing us. C'mon some kind of trade, something?

Dojo started moreso as a matchup issues and not just a benching of Collison. Jrue is a big PG 6'3-4 at 200+lbs.

Looks like that worked out well. I'm not saying Collison didn't deserve a good benching, but Jones was worse...way worse. Like I said, if you're going by the Lakers game, then Roddy should have started. Who knows what will happen next. Kinda hard to care as much without Dirk in there.

I personally thought Carlisle didn't put Dojo in a good position to succeed from the beginning. Philly has a really good perimeter defense and Jrue is good defender on big PG's. Those two reason's spelled DOOMED for Dojo. Also, the last couple of games teams have picked up Jones near half court to stop his penetration as it seems Dojo likes to get a head of steam before barreling into the lane. Dojo w/o penetration is useless. It also exposes that he can't run the basic offense set of PnR. He lacks a quick first to get around the screen and no one is checking for his jumper, so as a defense you just cut off his passing lane and force the offense to go somewhere else.

Bor, the biggest problem is everyone doubles DoJo on the screen. Pair him with Dirk and DoJo will get off that screen beautifully. Pair him with Wright and the same thing happens. That is why the old Barea pick and pop worked so well......
But having Brand or Kaman set the screen it is useless because Brand can't shoot and Kaman can't dribble once he catches it.

Dallas just desperately needs to hover AROUND .500 until Dirk gets back. Even if he isn't able to catapult this team to official elite status immediately his presence alone is such a confidence boost. Their schedule in January and February isn't actually that horrible, so they have another opportunity to pad their record once everyone is healthy.
I'm still in favor of a move for Dalembert or someone of that ilk once Dirk returns. Mavericks need an interior presence in the worst way right now, and if they could snag a veteran point guard that would be gravy.

Nice eyes...
Read again! "This year" But, still it's not his production most time. It's his lazyness and all on the court. Or at least it looks like it...

Maybe he's waiting (and hoping) to be traded for some dust.
