If the Rockets beat the Spurs tomorrow, I assume they will go ahead and start ramping up factory production of their 2015 replica championship banners for Rockets Ring Night October 2015.

Q: Who plays point guard for 45 min and records NOT even 1 assist
A: Kyrie Irving (who also shot the ball 23 times)
Bonus Q: Which team is not sharing the ball
A: Cleveland - with only 6 team assists
Also - Dion Waiters has a total of 3 assists THIS SEASON

I've always though Waiters was a scrub. He's a glorified Dominique Jones who can't shoot the ball.
And yeah, for all the flack the Mavs are getting for blowing 3rd quaters...at least we're still winning those games. The anointed in July champion Cleveland Cavaliers are playing like dog snot.

I can't believe I had the no. 1 pick in one of my fantasy leagues and I went with LeBron over stat-stuffer Anthony Davis. I feel like such a loser.
Also I've always liked Hayward. He seems to be improving by the season. I just wish he wasn't so damn inefficient. His FG% makes me wanna throw up.
Also yeah, I wanted to address the Lakers issue. How depressing of a locker room environment do you think it must be for those young guys after a game in which Kobe shoots close to 40 shots (with just one assist!), not even coming close to making half of those shots and your team still gets blown out? How must it feel to not even be able to address the issue "because he's Kobe"? How must it feel to be stuck in a steep downward spiral without being able to say or do anything about it?

Fantasy is all about stat stuffers. It's the only place I'd pick Mike Scott over Dirk and Brandan Knight over Chris Paul.

Duncan and Giblowme aren't playing, so I don't want to hear any trolling if the Rockets win.

The NBA had to expect this. Putting the Spurs on TNT on the second night of a back to back is just begging Pops to pull a move like this.

If the playoffs started today, none of the teams that Houston beat would be playing... Getting excited about defeating the Spurs when two of their best players are missing is like bragging about beating up the retarded kid who lives down the street.

Yeah because the Rockets were at full strength too. Rockets fans aren't excited btw. Golden State tomorrow will be a bigger test, and one the Rockets will pass.

Marion finally had a good game tonight, but holy cow has he looked bad. I'm glad that it seems we were able to squeeze the last bit of usefulness out of him before we had to part ways.

Two observations from watching a few Cavs games: - Blatt has been terrible so far. It's like he watched the 2011 Finals and decided that was the optimal way to utilize LeBron. He's wandering almost aimlessly on the weak side on offense. Doesn't look engaged at all.
- Zero chemistry between the three stars. They should very seriously consider trading Irving for a real point guard. He looks absolutely awful next to the clearly superior LBJ and Love.

They should have never traded Wiggins. Kyrie was the one who should have been traded. And do something with the other ballhog Dion Waiters. That guy doesn't even want to be present during the star spangled banner (possible ISIS?).

Last night:
Spurs lose to N.O. - Anthony Davis (27 pts, 11 rebs) hits game-winning basket as Pelicans earn 100-99 win over the Spurs.
Rockets lose to G.S. - Rockets attempted an NBA season-high 42 3-pointers, making just 10, for their worst shooting performance (23.8 percent) in their loss to GS last night.

I love that Larkin is having a better season than both Shawn and Vince.
Also how crazy is it that all 5 teams in our division could make the playoffs? Although I do think the Pelicans will just miss out in the end.

Happy for Toronto (6-1) coach Dwayne Casey....
fun team to watch (except when they show Drake on the sidelines) and they have the leagues highest Average Point Differential @ +11.6
and in this note from espn's Tom Haberstroth
Lowry/DeRozan/Ross/Amir/Valanciunas has outscored opponents 160-114 (+46) in 63 mins. Just crushing teams on both ends.

It won't continue, but Raptors will make the playoffs in the East.
We lost a lot when we lost Casey. Dude is a seriously talented coach.

Love "seriously considering" leaving the Cavs according to a few reports.
Probably bullcrap, but I'd love to see that team implode.

The defense hasn't been the same since he left. I'm starting to wonder if Monte Mathis can get these guys to buy into what he is selling defensively.

I'd be very surprised if Love left the Cavs this year unless they do something like flaming out and getting bounced in the first round.

I think it depends how much he hates to live in Cleveland and how his relationship with Lebron develops.
As old UCLA guy i always expected him to sign as FA with the Lakers in 2015. So i think i prefer him to stay in Cleveland. Let Kobe chuck himself in a lottery team into retirement...

Only problem with that is Kobe has another year. They have the cap, but they still have Kobe. No one wants to play with Kobe. Only one year of overlap would help, but it still might be too much for Love.

Rockets look like a top 4 seed at the moment. Mavs do not :/
Spurs
Warriors
Rockets
Blazers
Clips
Mavs
Memphis
Sacramento
Pelicans
Too early in the season prediction for the west

Congrats, Kobe on the record! It took a ton of hard work and a career dedicated to selfishness and shot-chucking, but he's finally done it. Truly an amazing fete.
