Well they've exceeded my expectations
Props to JG for giving them an identity as a running team with a smash mouth O-Line. I hope to see more play action esp. on first down. Esp. when teams stack 9 in the box. Defense has far exceeded my hopes though there's still tons of room for improvement. Not sure... maybe we just need another year for the young guys to improve and for guys to get healthy. More likely we are 1 or 2 playmakers away from being really outstanding in addition to the above. can't believe we're still in the hunt for HFA and not just a playoff spot. Who would have thought that at the beginning of the season? |
