So they played 100 games and we got exactly what we knew would happen last summer.
zzzzzz..... The Celtics and Sixers need to get great fast to make this worth watching. But the Warriors probably win again next season too. Unless they get some real injury problems and not that fake Iggy injury that reduced them to just fielding 4 All Stars.
------------------
So Warriors in 4 in the Finals. Do they win by an average margin of 10 or closer to 20? I guess that's something to watch the score on my phone for. No way I'm watching the actual games.

It's been like this for a while though. It's been like this since 2010. It's just over the last 2 years there has been a super team on both sides. Well Cavs aren't a super team anymore the East is just shit. But since 2010 I've never thought for one second that a team other than Lebron's would make the finals. It's just been the last 2 years that the West has been just as predictable. And when Lebron leaves the Cavs for Philly it will be Philly who makes it next year against the Warriors.

Rockets were 7 of 44 on 3 pointers.
According to Second Spectrum, Harden dribbled a staggering 600 times in Game 7. The next highest total was Gordon with 250. The rest of the team combined for just 179.
Trevor Ariza 42 min and ZERO points. Shot 12 times.
Harden took 29 shots and scored 32 points.
Harden 2-13 from 3. Gordon 2-12. Ariza 0-9. That's 30 missed threes.
That's how you blow a home Game 7.

Totally agree. And yet those dumbass houston fans are all over the internet blaming the refs. I thought GS had the benefit of a few more calls but nothing close to egregious. And to make it worse, they literally cheer for harden every game with his ridiculous antics of how he baits refs and then when he doesn't get those same calls in the playoffs, which everyone knew he wouldn't minus houston fans, they scream of conspiracy.
They lost because they had an epic meltdown from 3. They lost because they had maybe a total of 3 points from their bench. They lost because their superstar flopper shot 25% from 3 for the series and only once did he shoot 50% from the floor, a game 1 loss. And since cp3 went down he had a beautiful 15 assists to 14 turnovers. And they relied on an injury prone CP3 to stay healthy and when he didn't they are somehow surprised.
Like Sefant said, I'm hoping Houston maxes him. I'm pretty sure he wants that max, because he fought like hell to get that age shit changed just in time for himself to cash in during the last CBA negotiation. 5/205 with the final year being 46.6 million at age 37. Yes fking please.

Lebron as Cavs GM has sucked, but you gotta give it to him to stay in the worst city on earth with a bunch of nobodies. And he still gets them to the finals.
He is gone next season...no question.

The refs change the outcome of the game and maybe the series by overturning that charge. It was honestly the single worst call I have seen since 2006. Lebron’s feet were set.

Are you allowed to take a stand AND move the body in the offensive player ?

Why is JR Smith still getting minutes anyway? Is your team so bad that you have to play a guy who is a -20?
That's on the coach.

I thought that was a foul on LBJ. He was moving which he is allowed to do but he was also sideways with his shoulder leaning into KD.

Smh at JR ....I think that’s all the Cavs had and it was their only chance to make this thing competitive. How do you not know the score in the last few second of a NBA Finals game ??
He’s gonna get cut as soon as they lose if LBJ doesn’t kill him first lol

Of the 4 ppl who texted me it was 2/2 and then my vote of block. And if you count tap for his vote for charge its 3/3 lol. I guess it's really one of those 50/50 calls.
I thought the strip calls with Lebron and Hill were more egregious misses myself.

I didn’t see the game. Am I to understand that there was a charge/ block call reviewed and changed?

Yeah. With 30 seconds left there was a call made, on the floor it was a charge. They reviewed it because of proximity to the restricted area and while the restricted area played no part ultimately they overturned the call and said Lebron was moving or wasn't square or both. People after the game have said charge/block. The only real issue I have with it is I'm used to football and the clear decisive evidence needed and this is a 50/50 call, hard to overturn a 50/50 type call.
