The Mavericks aren't playing to get out of the first round - they're playing to win it all... I think Rick has a lot more confidence in this team than you do.

Were you guys watching the ESPN broadcast?
Hubie Brown is getting more mentally unfit by the day.
When Rip took that swing at Dirk's head Hubie tried to make it all Dirk's fault and said Dirk "forced him to take a swing at him" because Dirk was putting his hand into Rip's chest.
Huh?
So if a player touches your chest with his hand you have a greenlight to try and punch him in the head? Nay you have a responsibility to punch him in the head!
WTF? Is this some new rule I haven't heard about?

If we survive the 1st round he might give Roddy/Wright/West/Vince more minutes...

Others have already refuted most of this. I just wanted to point out that it would be incredibly weird for Delonte to start each half and only play 6 total minutes at SG. No one puts in subs at the 9 minute mark of the 1st/3rd.
And Marion is sure as hell not going to play 41 minutes a game. People forget that the main reason Rick started JJB at SG the last three games of the Finals was to reduce Shawn's minutes.

West and Marion were probably thinking, "what's the big deal" when Roddy dislocated his.

The Lakers and OKC are tied late in OT, after the Lakers were down 17 earlier in the 4th, but if the Thunder can somehow win this one, then the Clippers will be in the driver-seat for the 3 seed...
Many were somewhat happy with last night's loss, because it would help us avoid the Lakers, and I guess most would rather play the Thunder than the Lakers in round 1, me too... But what if the Clippers win the 3 seed, would you rather face the "Lob City" or OKC?
All match-ups are tough, but I'd take the Clippers in round 1... Plus, if the Lakers are the 4 seed, they'd have to play Memphis, which is a tougher match for them, and even if they get by Memphis, it would likely take a higher toll...

Well.... the Thunder sure screwed the Mavs today. They win and the Clipps get the 3d seed. Now that the Thunder will lose... Lakers got the 3rd all wrapped up.

Forget it, Lakers win....
Russell Westbrook with back to back turnovers in the last minute of OT number 2...
Westbrook and Durant a combined 14-56 on FG's .... Westbrook 3-22 shooting, Durant 11-34...

What a choke, it's like it's our destiny to face the Lakers.
But Denver is actually in 6th not us, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out. I'm pretty sure it's either going to be OKC or the Lakers and not the Clippers anymore.

I like to think of it as the Thunder just screwed themselves

Thunder spitting the bit. It looked like they were playing too many minutes.

There are dislocations when you barely feel anything, and other times, you feel like somebody cut off your finger. It really depends on where you manage to mess up the finger.
sike: I tend to agree with you, the more i think about it, i prefer OKC to the Spurs, and Lakers.
