PGs seem readily available in trades now. SEA, INDY and maybe CHA have some potentially there.

Jason Thompson was one of my sleepers in the draft... but #12? Too early IMHO.

Out of those and whoever has a hole at SF and some decent cap options, could be able to land Maggette.

So if you see POR take that Center for OSU, then it looks like you've got your first draftees traded.

I notice that Draftexpress.com had a really accurate mock draft... they got picks 1-8 exactly right and the rest have been really close. They had Jason Thompson at 14.

Well, I guess I spoke too soon, on Mocks I've seen Rush go later, so maybe he could be an option too for a trade if Ford has a good lead on this trade idea.

so many teams are drafting positions they already have...
can you trade your player the day after the draft? or does it have to happen on draft day?
does anyone know?

I think they have to happen on draft day, but it's very common for trades to be announced well after the picks involved are made.

Portland will trade Rush and Jarrett Jack to Indiana for Bayless and Ike Diogu. If Bayless pans out to be what everyone says he could be, he and Roy will be scary for years

Portland has been ripping it up the last two or three years in terms of reshaping their team. And to think about how bad a situation it was at one time...have to give them kudos.

If they all mesh together, they will be friggen scary.
That #1 man from last year needs to be healthy though.

Wow, that's a surprise too. I bet that ticks the Jazz off a lot, I know they were looking at Roy a lot.
I still have hope for CDR...

Ha! Terry Porter just said that Lopez is going to "defend at the defensive end." It must be assuring for Suns fans to know that he at least has the sides of the floor down correctly!

They didn't, haha.
I have no real leads here, just a hunch...but we could try to buy Utah's pick. I know they had their sights on Roy and Thompson. Maybe they'll into Koufos.
