GDT: Mavs at Cavs 630pm cst 11/17/2012
The Mavs will go to cleveland to take on the Cavs in the battle of the Avs at 630 tonight. I predict a 104-97 W for the good guys

I predict the Mavs keep it close for a half and then get blown out of the water in the second half. Seems to be their MO so far on the road.

Why is everyone down on this.team??? We are at. 500 without Dirk and Marion missing a few games. I would like to see us in a better position...but if you think.about it we only have 2 more losses than some teams that are at full strength and super talanted. Like Miami...or the same amount of losses as the Lakers. Its early lets juat let them play and I see us improving a lot onceDirk is back and I am sure Ric ahas got this.

I am down because we had a very easy schedule so far and because it is really scary HOW we lost those games. Our rebounding, passing and defense looks . Dirk won't fix that (as much as you hope). Players need to improve on their own and right now they are regressing (only Mayo, Marion and Kaman are OK).
No defense = no fast breaks (for Collison, Mayo and Marion)

Carlisle told the DMN that they were planning on playing a strong 24 and then letting Murphy off the leash in the second half so that they could keep their streak going.

WIN... big game for OJ Mayo. But the W depends if Murphy will play...
I would go with this rotation without Dirk.
Beaubois/Collison
OJ/Jones
Marion/Carter
Brand/Wright
Kaman/James
And then when Dirk came back you get him on James place and James and Crowder become bench warmer options.

Are we really sweating the cavs? Man this is bad.
I thought for sure passing on the entire free agent market for financial flexibility and trading away our top draft pick was a solid way to build a winner.

Great Pass by VC to Dojo! 24-24. Excellent way to finish off a quarter.

So I get that wright can't rebound well enough to play center, but since we dont currently have an nba of on this team(if you consider brand a c and Marion a sf) why the hell is he not getting 30 minutes a night at pf?

With Collisons regression and Roddy being Roddy, how long before Dojo is the starter at point?

I know Kaman has had a couple of good scoring games, but he is very frustrating to watch. He can't rebound worth a damn. Is it injury? Age? I don't know but he's useless on the boards. Actually, none of the Mavs bigs are worth a damn on the boards except maybe James and Wright occassionaly.

Mavs need to build up a 10+ point lead so they might withstand the second half collapse....

Yes, he's turnover prone. That first one was very bad. But the one with Kaman...come on...Kaman has to get that.
