GDT game 79 - Spurs (60-18) at Mavs (32-46) 7:30 FSSW
Spurs come to town for one of the final four games of the season. Spurs 8-2 in last 10. Mavs 3-7.
Injuries
Curry - shoulder - out
The rest of the team should play. Sad.

10 - Pelicans - 1.0 games
-----------------------------
9 - Mavs
-----------------------------
8 - Kings - 1.0 games
7 - Wolves - 1.0 games
We're 1 game from 10th and 1 game from 7/8. Every game counts .

Unfortunately think this may be a win for the Mavs, especially if everyone but Curry is playing. Spurs have nothing to play for at this point. So even if they play all their guys, doubt it will be for long. I honestly think the odds of us falling in the draft is more likely. I think we go at least 2-2 in these last 4...

We will win this one and then lose Suns game... b/c ... Mavs basketball seems to be that way right now.

...even though Matthews will still get 35 minutes easy.

Boy, I hope so -- at least it means Carlisle is serious about tanking!

Yeah, but that also means my eyes have to bleed out. And if Matthews is part of the team in the coming years, then it also means risking injury to a guy who already has little value.
So Win-lose-lose.

...so Leonard, Aldridge, Manu, Green, and Pau will not play... so the Mavs will be playing the D-League Spurts... so the Mavs win... so the tank spurts gas and Cowboyotter dies tonight....
Mavs - 99
OtterSpurts - 97

Matthews played 16 minutes. The season is a success.

Kings slaughtering Lakers
Wolves have a chance at Jazz (but probably not)
Pelicans are getting their ass kicked too. Hard to get separation from 10

Our typical 3rd quarter slump finally pays off!

Man I was a little worried when i saw who Pop was resting and in the 3rd when we were up like 9 or so... But whew! Alright on to Phoenix. Hopefully Devin Booker lights us up again and Rick gives most PT to end of bench players.

Phoenix has lost 13 straight, but every streak has to come to an end, right?

Cheer for the Kings. A win for them and three more losses for us could mean moving to 8

Indeed! Looks like that streak is coming to an end tonight however. They're killin the thunder. Hopefully though that will give em some good 'Ol momentum against us on Sunday. I actually have a weirdly good feeling about that game!

A win for them puts us in a tie. I asked about our tiebreak scenario with SAC in the draft thread
