Anyone thinking that Larry Riley is a total amateur in over his head and that Donnie is running a madhouse in Oakland?
1) Jackson is going off and Golden State is saying that they want to receive a star in return for him? I mean its one thing to try to up a players worth but another to have ridiculously overhyped value on a player that needs to go ASAP.
2) Ellis is going nuts and wants out too, and has made public announcements that he wont play with the other two-dozen 1/2 tweeners that Nelson has put together.
3) They now have Acie Law penciled in to play SF at 6'3". They throw 6'2" Ellis, 6'5" Morrow and 6'3" Law, with 6'6" Maggette That team isn't small ball. Its midget ball.
4) They are inundated with guards, and refuse to trade any of them. Our buddy Otis makes an offer on the low-end of fair for a guy that won't see much PT, and gets refused so he goes and cries about it to the press that its something personal about him.
In the mean time Ellis 6'3", Curry 6'2", Watson 6'2",Law 6'3", and 5'11" Claxton are all looking for minutes with Morrow 6'5" starting to take off, Azuibuke 6'5" already looking good. All those guys want and demand minutes. Ellis is their star starter. Curry is their first rounder. Watson they re-signed because they said he was developing (and then refused to trade to Orlando). Even if they push Acie Law, Morrow and Azuibuke up to SF, thats still a total logjam of young talent that will fester and become unhappy if not developed. Claxton is the only one who knows he's a reserve. Everyone else feels like they are a starter or at least worthy of 25mpg. What a total mess.
Its like the Warriors heard the phrase "you can never have too many bigmen" and thought it meant 1/2 tweeners with good size for the 1 and below average height for the 2. Nelson has done a nice job putting together a LOT of high potential young guys but they all play the same position since none of them are natural PGs. His veteran core is either staying away or revolting, and his young guys are realizing that the roster is a timebomb.

I propose trading Barea for SJax, straight up. It sounds like he'd fit right in.

Im pretty sure Donnie loves Barea.
Im little bit scared about Cleveland, i can see them pickung up Jax...
Dont know, i think i still prefer us to get Jax than another contender...
Someone ina another fourm told that the 07 series was the worst thing that could happened to the warriors.

If Cleveland is interested and Golden State is asking for a star, who do they send? Warriors dont want Mo Williams (or maybe they do want a 5 guard lineup!?!?! dun dun dun!). Big Z is aging and has 3 years on his contract plus they have Biedrins. Verajao has a ridiculous contract. West is too crazy to have any trade value and I dont see them trading Gibson. Unless the Warriors accept scraps, I dont see it happening.
Still, other than Jackson's defense, I dont see him contributing. He wont have the ball enough to pass since LeBron always has the ball. He's not a stupendous three point shooter and has been a volume shooter throughout his career. If you could take 5 shot attempts from Gibson/LeBron and give them to Jackson so shoot 6-19, I'd be thrilled as an opposing team.

Mike Miller and Arenas DNP tonight against Atlanta with flu like symptoms. Their previous game was Wednesday vs the Cavs. Coincidence? Thoughts?
On a different note, Washington's young center McGee had 7 offensive, but not a single defensive rebound;
Bass and Gortat had so-so-to-good performances in Orlando's close win at Chicago, but that Ryan Anderson guy again shot the three very well and may fit better into the starting lineup than Bass; Pops Mensah-Bonsu again had a very good preseason game in Houston's win over OKC (16min, 13pts, 4reb).

Clippernation will wake up to another shocker.
Quote:
Los Angeles Clippers’ rookie forward Blake Griffin may miss up to six weeks with a stress fracture of his left patella suffered during the Clippers’ last preseason game vs. the New Orleans Hornets on Friday, October 23rd.
Griffin was the first overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Oklahoma.

Is there really a "Clippernation" ? More like "Clippercorner" I would think.

Rajon Rondo will not sign a new contract with the Celtics, according to agent Bill Duffy.
The two sides met to discuss a possible deal recently. Duffy feels as though Rondo should be among the top-five highest paid point guards, but the Celtics don't feel the same way.
"We're not going to do an extension right now," Duffy told Yahoo! Sports. "The conversation has been cordial. We've been talking the last couple of weeks. There is a difference between the perception of him in their eyes and our eyes. With that being said, the focus is on Rajon to have a fantastic season and concentrate on winning a championship."
Assuming the two sides don't reach an agreement by Friday, Rondo will become a restricted free agent at the end of the season.

Who knows a couple of injuries later. Given our squad now, JJ. Rondo,....if you're thinking beyond Kidd, though I believe both could coexist in the same backcourt.

Clippers actually looked pretty dang good out there against the Lakers. Once Griffin comes back they could make some noise.
