Dirk was just amazing!. 40 pts, 11 rebs, 5 asts, 5blks and 2 steals. Wow, just wow! Dallas set a new record for the quarter with 44 and Dirk tied the franchise record of Mark Aguirre with 29 alone!
AMAZING! I can't find words for it.
Edit: Mark had 24 in the season and 27 in the playoffs. So, Dirk is now the only franchise leader in points scored in one quarter.

If he can keep this energy up all season and into the playoffs I think we're getting a ring.

Trying to rank Dirks memorable off the top of my head.
Game 5? WCF Phx 50 vs Tim Thomas
This one
TMac duel
Toronto 07 where he hit 5 3's in a row?
Had a game in Seattle where he went nuts I remember
Miami game where the phrase "Dirk is german for good god does this guy ever miss" or something along those lines.
what else?

The game may possibly be close for the first 3 quarters but knowing the Jazz, they'll lose it in the 4th and fall apart. See the Denver game if you don't believe me. Or how about even last nights game for that matter and that was at home. : )

I would have preferred to see some Roddy instead of Carroll.

nba.com has some BS about LeBron and Shaq enforcing their will on the Wizards... I guess they missed the part where Dirk enforced his will on the entire state of Utah?

I think Carlos Boozer has sand in his vagina.
Quote:
"We did a couple of different things. It just seemed like either he made his shot or he was shooting free throws. I thought we couldn't be physical with him, couldn't touch him too much without them calling a foul on us. Obviously he was aggressive, he's a great player, but I thought we were doing a decent job. But anytime we touched him they called a foul, so, not to much you can do when you can't be physical with somebody."
