The thing with the Knicks is, they can either land 2 superstars but cant probably cant resign Lee or its a superstar + Lee and with that roster
Duhon
Chandler
Gali
James
Lee or Bosh?!
Not really a roster putting them over Orlando or Lakers. Same problem with the Heat.
Bulls with one FA or Dallas with Dustchip would have way superior roster.

The Knicks do not have the cap room for two max contracts unless they move Jeffries and Curry.
This needs to go in a new thread though. Think of the people with real lives.

If the odds are stacked against any ONE of those guys signing with another team, then what are the odds that New York can actually land TWO at the SAME TIME?

Well in this case it's probably true. But if I were to move it I would be accused of over moderation.

There's been some rumors about the clippers making Al Thornton available for a trade. His salary is closer to 2mil this season and 2.8mil next.
Quote:
CLIPPERS: Numerous contending teams are bidding on Camby, but L.A. insists on inclusion of Al Thornton ($2.8M next season) or Sebastian Telfair ($2.7M) to create ample cap room to recruit LeBron.
|
He wouldn't be a bad target with the trade exception acquired. He's a nice young servicable and athletic SF/PF that could back up Marion and Dirk, and be effective on both ends of the floor
