How crazy would it be if the Mavs suddenly were the number 6 seed by the end of the week? That's as close as you'll ever see it. Amazing stuff.

You know what you're going to get from Dirk, Kidd, Damp, Barea, Najera and Stevenson. They might have an up or down game but they're fairly consistent. It is Butler, Marion (on the offensive end), Haywood and Terry who can't be trusted to give consistent output. Beaubois has been marginally consistent. You can't go into the playoffs with 4 out out your top 8 guys being question marks when it comes to consistent production.

In a four way tie like this, aren't the division winners decided first and given higher seeding? If that's the case, the Mavs and Nuggets (3-1 H2H over Jazz) would emerge ahead of the Jazz and Suns. Mavs at #2 (2-1 over Denver), Nuggets at #3, Jazz at #4 (2-1 over Suns, one game left), Suns at #5.
Is this how it would be?

That game against Houston to end the season and reach 50 wins, and as it ended up, rising all the way to the 6th seed, was one of the most complete games I've ever seen. I still remember it vividly...Dirk, JET, Kidd, even Josh played just great in that game. It wasn't a total blowout, but it was a solid 8-10 point win...it included that doucher Hollins best alley oop as well for us.

Thanks for the confirmation. Well the one positive is that the Mavs look pretty good on most of the tiebreak scenarios.

Why did I get banned? Same reason a mod can edit one poster's language with a simple edit, yet edit another poster's analogous post with a smart ass comment I guess.
