As physical as the games have been going, having Chuck Norris come in would be cool. Roundhouse kick everyone on the spurs bench. Ha...

This game will probably go to Dallas in a close and hard 4Q.
Those who think Spurs wont bring his A level for this game (instead of that, tanking to finish it at the AT&T) is being no sense, Spurs will probably want to end the series now to have some rest and give some recovery time to Manu´s noise.
Expect amazing moments

I really don´t get why you Mavs and Spurs hate each other so much.
Sure you had hard "basketball fights", but...how about their citizens?

Um, actually, if they get crushed in game 5 my prediction streak would have ended at 0-4 and I would be 1-4. If you are going to chime in, at least pay attention.

Let's go with 6 out of 58 (10.3%) for teams coming back from 3-1 with two games at home.

I was gonna ask if anyone had that percentage on hand and what it was. Nice.

Best of luck to y'all tonight. I sincerely hope my Spurs get this series over with, but I have my doubts. Regardless of who wins, it's gonna be one helluva game. Not sure my heart can take any more of these close games, but I'm going to find out.

I honestly think the mavs still have a shot to win the series and even the title. They just gotta remember it's playoff basketball and keep their cool. Same thing is going on in denver...big raections and trash talking the refs will get you no where...both mavs and nuggets should be winning their series hands down...but it's not just physical, it's mental..and pop is the 2nd best mental coach in the league behind phil.

Incoherent sentence. Dallas can´t afford to be more "coolness". They need to play with all the possible fire they can get on court.
Remember you said? Rather no! That of course, if they want to avoid the normal choke procedure.

No Flaco, this is MY favorite....
That isn't the funniest thing in that post though. The funniest thing was the first sentence calling the quote out for being incoherent!!!

Did you just use that post to accuse someone else of incoherence? I feel like I'm in bizarro world right now.

Well, that video did the trick. I'm amped.
Another long year down to a mere 48 minutes, dallas-mavs.com friends..
The same thing every year since we were little kids. Some of us consider the ending fate. Some of us consider the ending luck. We all consider the ending a lesson though the message is different for us all. This lesson comes as often and steady as the endless revolving seasons and as unapologetic and dependable as the scorching summer sun. It teaches us to lick our wounds, to scrap together the pride which does not dissolve and to reenforce it with hope, some of it justified, the rest of it mustered and birthed from somewhere we don't know or don't quite understand, and we look up yet again. The armor comes back on, the weapons recast, the plans redrawn and our eyes hunger once more.. every year.
Again.
Again.
And again!!
And we will do that if we have to. Whether we want to or not, we will resume this half-learned ritual, half-gut instinct of a tradition which is as much us as anything we call our own.. but not tonight, not when this story is not yet a story to be told and its ending yet unwritten.
History is ripe full of improbable comebacks which started with a spark called belief. Belief can make the impossible possible. You've asked and longed for a time when we atleast had hope as if we were some undeveloped child whose desires only lay in the future.. well, tonight, I don't want your hope. Tonight, the future can wait. Tonight, I want your belief. Tonight, I want you to believe we will not start the process.
Believe we can stop the mourning and the rebuilding. Believe we can make the circle of seasons wait for us. Believe this year will not end tonight.
Do what you can, but you must believe.

Dampier should not play heavy minutes.
Nor should Barea.
Our rotation:
Kidd
Terry
Stephenson (on Ginobili)
Butler
Marion
Dirk
Haywood
Dirk doesn't need rest, just call timely timeouts, and play plenty of zone when Hill and ginobili aren't in, zone allowing Dirk to expend less energy on the defensive end.
Post up Butler, encourage spin moves and shot fakes.
Don't post up marion, but have him cut thru the lane from the weak side immediately at the first sign of doubling Dirk.
Again, encourage shot fakes with Marion also.
Terry is another cutter when dirk gets doubled, tell him to shot fake on the appropriate defenders.
Hopefully Terry and Kidd hit their 3's like they did all season.
3-2, with a tough game 6 coming up.

Hayy so is anyone going to start bitching about the refs before this game even starts?? I am surprised at how much of that has been going on. There have been some bad calls and last game was rough both ways. But this team needs to forget about the refs and play basketball and do w.e. it takes..which does not include bitching.
GOOOO MAVS
Lets hope Dirk and Terry can carry us through. Kidd needs to come back and do what he does.
** I see a lot of people are calling for Roddy and I agree..but if Manu starts to get hott. Forget Roddy and thro Stevenson in there...because although I dont understand whay we havent seen Roddy.. I am even more shocked that we havent seen Stevenson out there.
