Marion and Stevenson for Iggy
This Trade is Successful!
Try This Trade
Trade to:Philadelphia 76ers
Shawn Marion$6,635,068 per year 4 years, per 14.8
D. Stevenson$3,883,929 per year 1 year, per 3.3
Hollinger's Analysis: -5 Wins
With this trade you have decreased this team's projected wins by 5.
A. Iguodala$12,200,000 per year for 4 years, PER 17.8
Hollinger's Analysis: +4 Wins
With this trade you have increased this team's projected wins by 4.
Philly pays 7 million instead of 12 million per year for 4 years, Marion plays small forward so Philly has more room to draft Turner. Stevenson expiring...................Saves Philly lots of money
Dallas rotation
Haywood/Damp
Dirk/Najera/Haywood
Butler/Iggy
Iggy/beaubois/Terry
Kidd/Beaubois
Iggy is only 26, so we trade a 32 year old starter for a 26 year old, Iggy is teams best defender, great passer (5.8 assists) and Caron goes back to his natural position.

This is exactly why Philly won't do the deal - they have little use for Marion while they're trying to rebuild...

From what I have read, the cost of Iggy is Brand.

Marion and Stevenson are good defender Dallas need good defender players in next seson.
Iggy is very good offensive player but his defence is average.I like Iggy because he make very nice dunks on match he's good 3point shot he's very effective and productive player.Dallas need this player.I think this trade is good solution for Dallas Mavericks.
Let's go MAVS

guys, filly wants to cut contracts!!! Iggy is owed 12 mill for 4 more years!!!!!
That's why Philly would do it. Also, they are overloaded at the 2 position.

Yeah ... if we are trying to get Iggy without giving up Damp or taking Brand, we have to start with Butler unfortunately.

I've said several times this offseason that the Mavs should seriously consider Butler for Iggy straight up. Philly might not go for it, but it's not far-fetched. It would work out for several reasons.

Great Trade, PHilly would save a lot of money and get a nice player to teach their youngsters so they MIGHT do it (especially if we throw in a first)
They might do it for JET also, Jet can teach Turner and they can cut him for only 5 mill if they play him under 18 mpg this year. Trade a $48 mill player for a $15 mill player?
