i'd have to go with
1. vin diesel - sure XXX was a box office hit but if he has many more movies like him, he'll quickly turn into an afterthought. "The Knockaround Guys" was a disappointing movie as well this year. The guy actually has some ability. Just check out "Saving Private Ryan, "Iron Giant", "Boiler Room" and "Pitch Black"
for his sake, let's hope that "the chronicles of riddick" and "a man apart" will help to put "the fast and the furious" and "xxx" behind us.

Eddie Murphy was in three, count 'em, three, sucky movies in 2002.. but you couldn't say that the negative turn his career took was the biggest, as it was already in the shitter to begin with.
I agree on Vin Diesel.. he's been in movies of steadily declining quality. And there's an F and F sequel coming, I thought.

hmmm.... steven seagal will lost more credibility, though I enjoyed "Half Past Dead"
Agree on Diesel
Agree on Murphy, he needs another "Trading Places" movie
Not this year, but man Nicolas Cage has been spiralling WAYYY down except "Windtalkers" which I enjoyed.

well, rhylan, to me..eddie murphy's career was already dead with the nutty professor crap and the stupid movies where the animals talk..
but, yeah, he had a pretty bad year..i'm just amazed he was given a chance to have three flops this year by the industry...oh well..but good throw in rhylan

Richard Gere at the rate he is going he will be lucky to land a gig in freak porno in about 5 years. Not that he was ever good to begin with but it amazes me that Martin Lawrence would ever be casted in any film ever again. The only thing I can figure is that he is like the Bill Walton of the movie business.

<< all actors are shit. >>
Does the corollary apply in that all shits are actors?

Nah, Winona will be back in a years time. Bigger than ever. She'll be on the cover of every mag,
she'll be getting oscars, she'll be the best dressed celeb...etc etc etc
Anyone else remeber Halle Berry's hit and run incident?
How soon we forget, well how soon we forget..when the media decides it's time.

I agree with Veruca, Wynona Rydme will come back in a HUGE way. She was good in Mr. Deeds and I swear she had a boob job!
Nash13, you're right on about 4th hottest girl on the planet. She might be no. 1 or 2 for me. Wynona is top 10!
