Griffin is a stud. I was upset when he continued the long Clippers legacy of injuring his knee last year because I was really looking forward to seeing him play.

He really is. I didn't realize he was as adept a passer as he is. He made some really nice passes in pre-season and opening night, including a great lead bounce pass on a fast break. I could see him averaging 3 assists per game in the future. He also has a few moves, including a nice spin lay-up. He really needs to take things in stride, every play is live or die with him right now. That will come in time though. Doesn't help that he gets frozen out by BWreck.

Monte had 46 last night...Curry had I think 25....I really wish we could one of those guards, especially Monte...he isn't the ideal height, but he has the ideal scoring ability that we need

It could be worse, Mavs fans - at least we're not completely rebuilding at this point in Dirk's career...

Well if we are talking fantasy here, I'd much rather have Curry given that he can run the point well. Plus, he might be turning into my favorite player to watch in the NBA. He's got one of the sweetest shooting strokes I've ever seen. For all Monta's scoring ability, he really hasn't been efficient in doing so the last couple of years.
Of course, there's no way in the world that Golden State would trade Curry so I'll have to keep this scenario contained in my dreams.

Goodness Orlando is SCARY deep. They have two backup PGs better than ours and two backup PFs better than ours. Gortat is a beast. It's not fair that he doesn't get to start.

Utah looked great in pre-season, but terrible in their first 2 games. Dragic is sick.

He's going to struggle with the jumper, just like Rose has since he came into the league. It's Griffin's ROY to the lose but Wall will make that team better.

lol the female correspondent for the Lakers/Kings game just interviewed Kobe at half time, jumbled over her words and then said "thanks coach!" as he walked away.

It makes it look worse that the Thunder lost to the Clippers.
But hey, at least they won a few games unlike the lowly Rockets. Martin still putting up empty stats.

Holy crap, 10 missed threes! Normally he gets to three free throw line on nights where he shoots poorly, but he only took four free throws tonight.

I don't recall him being a fan.
As for myself, I think Durant's career already dwarfs Dirk's.

Durant's off to a really rough start shooting the ball. I'm sure his percentages will inevitably come up, but he really needs to cut down on the turnovers. It's puzzling that he's off to such a poor start considering his dominance in Istanbul.

How the hell is NOLA 4-0, leading the division and the #2 seed all at the same time?

Chris Paul has been lights out and with Trevor Ariza they've been playing much better defense. Essentially, everything has been going right for them...

When I first thought about it, I had OKC in 2nd with Dallas in 3rd but I changed it up before the season and had Dallas in 2nd.
It's just a different ballgame for OKC now, they're not sneaking up on anyone and people are out to get them. There is pressure for everyone, and the hype for Durant is epic now. He definitely deserves it, but there will be some major bumps in the road.

Thank you, OKC.
btw... the Blazers must be cursed. They got Oberto to fill in for their 3 injured centers..... he just retired due to a heart condition. Wow.

I don't think it's a matter of sneaking up on anyone..... It's probably somewhat about the pressure though.

OKC was healthy all year last year. They already have more injuries (Collison) than they did all year last year.

I couldn't believe that one thread about a month ago where people were ranking him around #8. I know he was hurt last year, but that's criminally underrating him. I wouldn't totally be surprised to see him win MVP this year.

hahaha eggg on my face. BUT He was 2nd on my PG list. Some people have him 4th-5th behind Rose and Nash.

Monte Williams knows Pop's defense and has them committed to playing it. Also, Emeka Okafor is having a solid start to the year as well...12.6/8.6 and 2.2 blks through 5 games.
