Lets start the Carlisle blasting/terry discussion
I didnt like that Terry stayed the whole 4th quarter even. He sucked the whole game and the whole 4th. Kidd came back with 4min left. That was the moment to at least try Roddy...

Get well TC, all you had to do was watch these last 2 games without TC to see just how much he means to us

Crawford can suck it.
Ellington too.
We need Tyson back.

Defense has been lackluster long before Tyson went out. Haywood hasn't played poorly in his place.

On Terry/Roddy... I understand Terry is the starting 2-guard right now, and that he's going to get most of the crunch-time minutes. However, Roddy played the first 7 minutes of the 2nd half and then never got back in the game. Terry played the entire final 17 minutes. If nothing else, it's strange to play your 33 year-old SG 17 straight minutes on the 2nd night of a back to back. Why not give him a break and start Roddy for the first 3-4 minutes of the 4th?

Carlisle give Terry Dirk-status but Terry proved often enough (*cough*) that he isnt a Dirk.
Carlisle need remove this status. If both SG play the same/good average, go with Terry, fine. If Terry really sucks give at least the other guy the try, specially when he had a solid game.

Well Mahimni was terrible today, and Haywood played a pretty poor second half, imo

Terry's numbers in the fourth shows he deserves it. Who hit the dagger 3 today?

And who also missed 8 of his first 10? And had 4 TOs? Because Jet hit one three in the fourth, that makes it excusable for him to play 17 straight minutes? Like Sefant said, if they're playing even, then obviously you've got to go with Jet. But he shouldn't be given Dirk status.

why not? When he is one of the best 4rth quarter scorers in the game, and comes up with many clutch shots.

I love Jet, but I think we just look at him at different levels. At least we got the W.

I really would love to know how many of these clutch shots were against a below 0.500 in a game that shouldnt be close at all and mostly is close because Terry stunk for 3 or 3.9 quarter.
We do the same shit that failed the last four years. Stick with Terry and dont use any slight possibility to develop an option beside him. RC HAD to give Roddy at least a shot in the 4th.
So tell me a game where Roddy really can "earn" his minutes.

a game where he plays well? He was terrible in the second half.
Terry has a 50% field goal percentage in the clutch that is pretty damn good

roddy is going to get mins, when were down in a playoff series. he comes in gives us a spark. and ends up back on the bench and we end up losing the playoff series. then we're going to have all this talk again about fire carlise and we should of played roddy more in the offseason.... sound familiar?

I love Roddy but don't you think it's kind of dumb to get mad at RC playing Terry in the 4th when Terry is one of the highest scoring 4th quarter players in the ENTIRE LEAGUE.
Think about all finishing lineups on teams. Think about how consistently they get minutes in the 4th. Think about all the Superstars, the all stars, the borderline allstars.. everyone.
Terry is ahead of 99% of them.
Give RC and Terry a break and quitchabitchin.

Our offensive efficiency was better than the best teams average.....
Our defensive efficiency was worse than the worst teams average.....
but people are bitching about Terry having a bad game offensively.

And you still dont win deep into the playoffs with an one-dimensional shooter that suck most of the game. Against Wolves, Clippers, Kings there are clutch shots he can make and "win the game".
In the WCF etc there wouldnt be clutch shots he COULD hit because the game is allready lost.
I would love if Terry can hit the big shots in the playoffs but im just so sick to stick with him no matter what...

So give him a break at the start of the fourth or a few minutes in and bring him back with 4-6 min left. Who have we ever played 17 minutes straight?

LOL is this Jet trashing seriously becoming a pattern???
WOW some of you are lame... I am not saying Jet had a great game. But he did hit the big 3 and also it is a FACT that Jet is a great 4th Q player. We are talking about all NBA superstars in that category and then Jet...soo there is something there.
Jet and Dirk are the second best duo behind LBJ and Wade...and its not like JET is there just for the ride..he produces.
Anyway I am going on and on now.......Hop OFF Jets balls and enjoy the win and future wins however they come )

To be frank, you don't sound very smart right now. You should take a break from the computer, go cool off and then come back and post.
Terry's efficiency was not a problem tonight. Our defense was a problem tonight.

Hornets, Nuggets and Spurs agree.
Too bad i dont wanna win in the RS or against every bad team, i want to win in the postseason. Right now one of the most important things is getting Roddy ready for the playoffs. Because its proven that "Clutch Terry" isnt enough in the playoffs (i could use other words too).
Its not about a freaking win more....

That's Jet's fault too. Kidding. Kinda.
It is def. concerning. Even with Tyson in, over the last month it seems priority on D has gone out the window. We've got a few things to work on before Playoffs roll around.

If you think the post season depends entirely on playing Roddy over Terry in the 4th, then I hate to say it but we're not going to win much in the post season anyway. Sorry.

Rick will overplay our veteran players again just like he did last yr instead of utilizing all of his weapons/options on the bench....yea, play Terry for 17 straight mins in the playoffs. RC will be outcoached again. The playoffs is a different animal...

This. People have something else coming if they think the defense is gonna be elite once Tyson gets back. It's been mediocre to poor for weeks and weeks.
