If we get home cookin this good there's no way we could lose a home game
What happened to dirk? He's not worth getting it to in the last 5-6 minutes?

THIS!!!!
Rick should have sacrificed DeShawn, Cardinal or Mahinmi to deliver a knock out punch - Cuban would have paid for the fine.

This.
NBA is gonna wear the "non-contenders" down to get 7 games. Business.

I really dont know what to think now, this made me want to cry, throw something against the wall... this really was like someone ripped my heart out! If we loose this series im really thinking about the option to leave the NBA alone and watch some other sport instead.

Carlisle is the worst coach in Mavericks history...4Q meltdown....no adjustments to cry baby Roy and now he is the MVP of the game...this is just embarrassing.
I can't even cry...

When they started making that come back, the ball needed to filter in to Dirk every time. That's the only thing that's going to stop the bleeding. If he misses, so what, but for them to allow them at the rim every time in the come back, it's just sad.

First, RC should have learned lessons from previous game. mavs always lost crucial points at the end of each quarter. Blazers got 5 pts in the last 38 seconds in Q3. If we called a timeout, we should at least have 20 pts lead to Q4
Secondly, what RC did in the last several timeouts??
just let Kidd and Terry bricking the three?? I rather they played every possession through Dirk, even he will missed or called offensive fouls. I guranteed that Refs won't call every possession for offensive foul. We ust need to play aggressively

OUCH LOL!!!
This defeat goes on Carlisle, but more so on the league as a whole for giving people misconceptions that the NBA is fair and doesn't rig games. Yeah, at the end of the day the players are the ones not doing their jobs, but who are the players without a strong general that can lead his troops to victory. Do what you must to be victorious even if it be committing a dirty foul on Roy to stop momentum to even out the cheating that the refs do. Rick called his players soft earlier this season, I say unto you Rick, NO Jim Carey, YOU ARE SOFT!!!!!!!!!

First of all, The Mavs players are obviously first and foremost, to blame for their choke job, and you can include Carlisle also, if you want. There's no doubt about it. Having said all that, why do we even have refs for if they are not going to do their job correctly?? They call Chandler for a foul late in the game (when he was going for the ball) when he didn't even touch the guy! Not even close to touching the guy! Every posession - especially in the 2nd half - is critical!
Then, on that ball that was knocked out of bounds and the refs went to the replay, the refs ignored what the replay showed and chose to give the ball to the Blazers when the replay showed it was WALLACE that knocked it out of bounds and not Chandler! I just don't understand how the refs could have concluded the Chandler knocked it out of bounds! Is this a "fixed" game by the refs?
Again, the Mavs clearly choked, but it is inexcusable for the refs to not do their job on calls that are blantantly obvious - to the point that it doesn't matter whatsoever what the reviewed replays show. They will do what the crowd wants.

Glad Roddy is inactive and hope he stays there; he can't be blamed for the wins nor losses. Rick can take all the glory when we win this series.
Casey as the interim coach and eventual HC? That's a good thought...

even a hair didn't reach a foul on batum by chandler
chandler knocked out the ball but wallace had the last touch because chandler's hand was over wallace'
should be charging foul instead of blocking foul on kidd coz he's outside the charge zone
should be a blocking foul coz dirk landed sideway to the basket
most of all, adjustment RC.... ADJUSTMENT!!!!! roy is freaking burning hot and you let him take any defender on the top of the key 1 on 1??????!!!!!!

Portland is paradise compared to Dallas. Dallas is one big, generic strip mall full of fat-asses and texans. Are you kidding? Dallas is a joke.

It's probably true. Portland is a very ugly city people-wise.
