OKC's offense really makes a fellow appreciate how the Mavs move the ball around. I'm definitely rooting for some Thunder.

Agreed.
Also throw in the 20 minute intermissions between each OT period to stretch out the time even more.

I've noticed they aren't even giving it to westbrook now...That was a bad-as-hell shot from durant.

They go for less than a minute at a time, right? Before they go sit down for a little while?

For all of Westbrook's dumbness, the dude is friggin dangerous. He reminds me a lot of Baron Davis in that regard. Sure, Baron has been a stupid player his entire career, but he sure has torched the Mavs.

Serious question:
Was that the lamest multiple-OT playoffs game ever?

The key to beating the Thunder is denying Durant the ball and take away the drive from Westbrook. Westbrook will kill the clock, throw some shit up or force a team mate to take a contested bad shot.

I would be on the edge of my seat for any multiple-OT playoff game (assuming there are any stakes to the game). So that doesn't really answer my question.

Well it's kind of an odd question. In so many words you asked "was that the least awesome awesome game ever?"

I'd prefer, "Was that the ugliest awesome game ever?" but yeah, that's more or less true.
Odd question stands. My memory of multiple-OT playoff games is sparse at this point. That Bulls-Celtics game in 09 was absolutely classic.

I get what you are saying. It took OKC four tries to end it. Memphis stayed in the game with a lot of hustle and a little luck. I still like our chances with either team, one is playing over their heads and the other seems to lack the ability to close.

I think its because Conley, Mayo, and Perkins fouled out (lower quality bball was hence on display). But that one-handed three to send the game into another OT by Vasquez was pretty cool...

That certainly didn't help.
Don't get me wrong, it was damn exciting. But it was ugly. Vazquez hitting a leaner contested 3 to tie the game is not quality hoops.

I really think Dallas matches up much better with Memphis. Durant and Westbrook seem like nightmare matchups for us. Marion is too small to guard Durant and Kidd is too slow to guard Westbrook or any elite fast twitch point guard for that matter. Memphis seems a lot like the Lakers imo. Those suit us more. But I think the Thunder will win the series in 6 against Memphis. They got the momentum now.

I remembered one other recent amazing multiple-OT playoff game. Spurs-Suns 2008 Game 1 (the Tim Duncan three game):

If you're implying this game was rather poorly played by both teams, I will agree with you.

Hollins screwed single-handed a game against the Spurs where they was up by 3 and they didnt foul and now he let Mayo on the court with 5 fouls when they had to stop the clock with a foul.
