I remember being so ridiculously excited about rooting for him for a very long time. I think the NBA world finally saw his potential at this point too.

Mavs better have a good read on Haywood tonight. He was -10 in Game 3 in only 3 minutes and he gave that game "a shot" as well. Can't happen again.

Yeah the Divac one was during the playoffs (in a game and series we lost) and he went by Webber to dunk on Divac, but by then we already knew Dirk was a beast. Especially after he straight toasted KG in the first round.
The Baker dunk and game was more of the first time you thought... WOW... this guy is going to be a Superstar.

No more JJ Barea in the fourth quarter. This guy kills too much momentum and only ever looks for his own shot
We need to play off of Dirk the entire game. Send him in the post and wait for the help to come or he could make an aggressive move towards Haslem/CB4.
Chandler cannot get into foul trouble
JET needs to show up for this game. I have no doubt in my mind that we will win if he shows up for 20+ pts 5+ asts. I'm praying to god he has a great game tonight and I don't care if he sucks for the rest of his career after this one.

Barea played pretty well in the 4rth of game 5, Dirk didn't get going late, Mahimni was terrible defensivly, and Stevenson missed a FT and a wide open 3.
The rotations have worked for game 4 and 5 no reason to change them

I just never believe a guy like JJ Barea can lift us to the championship. When he's on the floor, I see a one man offense with him trying to find his shot for the first 20 seconds of the shot clock and then either passing it up to a teammate taking a fadeaway 28 footer or himself chucking it up.
Dirk can always get it going in any moment of the game.... If he demands the ball and not pass it up.

Just win this game... I don't care about the point difference, just close them out tonight and end the season with the LOB-trophy!

Looking back about a week ago, people didn't even believe we can win one game or even go up to 3-2...and yet here we are. Let's have faith guys, it's all in our Mavs's hands now.

So it comes down to this... One win away from the championship.
After all that bullshit we've had to heard about how this team wouldnt be able to suceed with this roster and how a one superstar led team wouldn be able to reach the top we finnaly prove it. This ride has been fantastic and Im really just proud of this team and very happy to be a Mavs fan. We fought the media saying that the Blazers would upset us, that the Lakers would sweep, that the Heat would be to much. We made it as a TEAM.
Although its true that we havent won it yet (and it will be tough) the feeling is that we will not let this chance slip away. Tonight we shall witness the biggest moment of this franchise history and the eternal glorification of who will be the Dallas Mavericks GOAT.
Mavs win.

Big thing tonight is to limit turnovers and stop them from the hollywood bs dunks and showboating that really lights a fire in that front running doucher crowd. (That's the only way they get excited).
Big thing for this afternoon is to limit vomiting.
I feel like I am going to be sick.
