GDT: Dallas @ Denver....
Just made this while @ work on my phone....
Goo Mavs...if we get this we have a chance to move up a few spots in the standings. Hopefuly Kidd is back and ready to play...if not I think the Mavs still get back on track and get this W.
GOOO MAVS

I hope that they enjoyed the rest because this next stretch will really test this team. Almost all of the next 9 opponents will be in playoff contention, so we're about to find out a little more about what we have in this thing.
As far as the Nuggets go, smelt them. Smelt them real good.

Another chance for Roddy to redeem himself. The couple days off probably helped.

Denver is banged up, no Gallinari, and I think Nene and Afflalo are out too...should be able to pull it off

Do the Nuggets have the least threatening name in all of Basketball? Who's afraid of a little gold nugget, honestly? Also, are they closest to being a full blown racial slur?

No
They run 2 deep at every position. Also, they like to run up and down the court. This has the possibility of being a blowout.
P.S.
Someone please guard Andre Miller

Last time i checked the injury report it said: Danillo out, Nene, Mozgov and Affalo Day2Day for Denver.
Main goals for the Mavs tonight:
1.Don't turn it over too much
2. Get Dirk the ball
3. Don't let Lawson and/or Miller have a carrer night

A win would be nice.

I don't like wins against shorthanded teams (prefer wins against full healthy teams, this proves we're really strong), but more than this I don't like loses against shorthanded teams. Only WIN, go Mavs!

A win is a win. With only 2 games separating the 4th from the 10th seed in the west right now, i welcome every opposing player that goes down or gets banned and makes a win easier or more likely. (Don't Like Love got just 2 games suspension... 3 games would have been nice)

I don't count the Spurs games in this one because their crap bench goes bonkers in all games against the Mavs. We won @ the Suns wo Nash comfortably and lost a game @ the Clippers that we should have won when they were without CP3. So I still like our chances when our opponents are missing their best players

Of course win is a win, but we're champs and we just can't wish somebody injury or suspension, because only then we can beat that team. We have to win against full healthy teams, if we're the best.

I dont care about winning in style. Just make the Playoffs - thats it.
btw: I think we finished the last regular season maybe 2-15 against playoff bound teams just to go 16-5 against some of the leagues best teams in the Playoffs. So who cares about the RS as long as we make the PO

3 days rest along with some much needed practice. Dirk looks great. Denver -1. Money on Mavs.

Nice to see Carlisle say that he wants our scoring points to actually score...
“Roddy wasn’t aggressive clearly and I got on his ass about it after the game and we’ve looked at film since,” coach Rick Carlisle said after Wednesday’s shootaround at the Pepsi Center. “Both of those guys are scoring point guards. They’ve got to always be aggressive to look to score. Otherwise, a big part of their game is missed by our team.”

Get Dirk involved early on, and vc as well. VC didnt get as many touches as he should have last two games. The Mavs gotta play relentless defense becuz even tho Galinari is out they are still a scary team. Most importantly, dont commit turnovers.

Key stretch. I think the 3 day rest between this stretch is key. We play 9 games in the next 14 days, no more than 1 days rest between those games. Then a 5 day rest. This stretch is crucial. Need to get off on the right foot.

Kidd still out. Still no passes to Dirk and VC, or rest of the team will play smarter tonight than last 2 games?

Dirk, Jet and VC should be the bulk of our offense....everyone else as it comes and off of those guys. They def, gotta fig. out the 3rd Q issues. But also thye have started going away from VC..which I dont like. I dont care who scores as long as the team wins and when they were going to VC early we were winning even when Dirk had bad games.

right... another pest that doubles his 3pt% against the Mavs...hated him in last years PO
edit: maybe our Guards do a better job against him than JKidd did in the younger past

Same here. I might even add Afflalo after that lucky buzzer beater last season. Andre Miller... ever since that 52 (?) point performance he had with Portland. He couldn't do anything before that (or barely anything) during the season, but the Mavs allowed him to go apeshit that day.

^^^ True, but give B. Wright some minutes and he will swat some of that shyte out of the gym. Also, can Vince cover Miller some of the time? Body him up farther outside.

Nene and Afflalo are in. Good I say. No excuses from either side. Mavs can't say they let their guard down and Denver can't claim we were all injured.

Please just give it your all and force the issue, Mavs. We've gotten rest and practice time, we need a win.

I hope those Nuggs announcers aren't that terrible homers... otherwise, putting it on mute will be inevitable.
