Danny Green...what a hidden gem. Pop strikes again.
Also, don't look now, but Phoenix is making a legit run at that 8 seed.

Gortat and Dudley are such stud role players. I'd take any of those two guys on the Mavs.

SJAX to play tomorrow against us.
I think Pop will go small ball against us with Jackson guarding Dirk. Except Dirk isn't 2007 Dirk anymore.

Memphis lost to Toronto in O/T - Grizz went 31-51 from the charity stripe (Z-Bo 7-14).

Even then, SJax couldn't guard Dirk. I hate that people pretend that he could. It was the fact that GS would swarm Dirk with 2/3 players, especially after he'd start to make his move. SJax very rarely guarded him straight up.

I dunno if I'd call a top 5 center (Gortat) a role player. Dude puts up a legit 16/10 and plays great defense.
But yeah, assuming Dwight stays in Orlando, my next move (after getting Deron) would be doing everything possible to get Gortat on the Mavs.
A starting 5 of Deron/Vince/Matrix/Dirk/Gortat would be incredible.

Did anyone see that Rockets vs Clippers game? Joey Crawford completely screwed that game.

Man Gerald Wallace was a catch for NJ. Now they only really suck.
Seriously Deron...your team next year beats San Antonio, and your temporary team gets it's ass beat by arguably the worst team in the league. Think about it...

And frankly, he's just not a good enough player to merit that kind of treatment.

Eh, whatever - bad shooting games happen...
Dirk shot 2-15 against OKC back on February 1st, then responded by going 12-17 in the next game against Indy - Kobe will likely respond the same way because he's a baller (a rapey baller, but a baller nonetheless...)

You're missing the point.
Dirk doesn't have the luxury of playing with a pair of dominant big men who were absolutely killing it.
If he did, I guarantee you he would never go 3-20.

Ah, I see your point now.
And regardless of who Dirk has to play with, he rarely takes over a 12-15 shots on a bad shooting night, but his assists tend to go up in those games (example: he shot 2-11 against NOH on January 7, but got 4 assists...)
Hell, he's only taken 20+ shots 10 times this season, but has averaged 47% shooting when he does.
Passing the ball around when his shot isn't there is definitely something that Dirk has been conscious of later in his career...

Man, Kevin Love's siblings are crazy...trying to tear Minny asunder. On Twitter, KLove's brother said "I hope JJB gets gang green and has to have his arm amputated." He and his sister (who is surprisingly hot, btw) have all these tweets trashing JJB.

Perfect example of why I can't stand Kobe. Bynum was 12-13 at one point, yet Kobe kept chucking up shots, such an idiot. Plus 7 TO's as well.
Been reported on Twitter today that Josh Howard needs left knee surgery and is out for the rest of the season.

The Nets losing to another awful team makes it just a little less sucky when the Mavs lose.
We're waiting Deron...

Vinny Del Negro on the hot seat.
Not surprised. Once this news goes public, usually it is a matter of days, not weeks, before he is gone.

Spurs sign Boris Diaw. Couled with SJax trade, they've made some very nice moves over the past week.
Sucks that everytime SA/Dallas meet neither team is ever healthy. No Parker/Splitter tonight, and Dallas is missing Haywood and possibly Marion.
Oh well.

Barea got the triple double in the end but they lost. He has played better since him and Love got into it.

I'd be more impressed with those stats if they were in 48 minutes instead of 58...
