Against Jones, it is clearly. The non existent jumpshot from Jones is killing the Mavs' flow and spacing. Roddy had some good games this year before his injury. After that, just 1 or 2. And Jones had what? 1 good half?

Roddy does not have the inner fire and mental toughness to survive at this level. Despite the fact he is more naturally gifted than dojo, he has managed to get passed on the depth chart. Give me dojo because no matter how slim the chance his odds are better that he would develop a jump shot or some crafty around the basket moves than roddy who can't be trusted to get past his mental deficiencies.

He’s liable to really throw anything.” Dirk

Kidd to Dirk is the present day Stockton to Malone.

A very valid point. I expect the men on the team look at roddy and see a wallflower. He may really need to go someplace else but not because of carlisle.

Roddy can't hit a jumper either. Worse, he can't make simple passes that keep a flow. He doesn't understand how to hit guys on the move or get it to them in rhythm. As evidence last night, things came to a grinding halt when he came in the game. He just can't run an offense, like we've been saying for 2 years.
