PGT: Mavs finally win
Point #1: It's good to win.
Point #2: You guys who are very active in the GDTs need to be more diligent about making PGTs. Any one of you can do it. Just make it right after the game is over.

10 turnovers as a team. Finally! I get that the team just isn't great at rebounding or defense with the lack of talent in those areas, but there is no reason to turn the ball over like they have done this season. Don't turn it over and good things usually happen.

2nd half was great, defense and offense!

Is Marion the only guy able to give a shit about rebounding? When they give an effort this team is capable of actually winning against some tougher opponents, but damn, when they take the night off they suck.
If this team played up to their potential they could still make the playoffs. That is a big if. Right now I would be thrilled if they could make it back to .500 before the All-Star break.

Good win. Not great but good.
Dirk looked better.
Mayo shot OK.
Carter tore them up.
After we got abused by 29-18 on the boards, we not only kept up but outrebounded them by 9 in the second half.

Nice to see RC finally deciding to go with Collison and Roddy at the point. Hopefully he sticks with this going forward. Once Dirk is back in game shape there should be some semblance of a rotation taking shape.
Also, I hope Elton Brand can start knocking down those WIDE OPEN jumpers again soon. Its become painful to watch.

I wonder how long it's going to take Dirk to get back to his old self.

Nice to see em grab a win, even if its the lowly 4 win wizards. I'll take anything at this point. I think the team is starting to find out it take maximum effort every night from each player to establish presence and wins. I agree with above poster, .500 would be awesome at the break.

Actually the rebounding overall wasn't that bad. First quarter was horrible, but we got out-rebounded by only two overall. Moreover, Washington, believe it or not, is actually one of the top rebounding teams in the league.
Great effort the last three quarters and a big confidence boost.

*knocks on wood* but Collison is 18/5 on 54% shooting in his last five. Only two turnovers per game in that span to boot. Perhaps the signing and waiving of Fisher was all a ruse to get Collison to play better.

What a nice late 2nd quarter push and 2nd half.
Collison and Brand need to keep it up. Bring this game every night.
Kaman needs to be a lil tougher. The j's are great but he needs a lil more grit in the paint on the defensive and rebounding side.
Roddy, come on man. Prove us wrong.
Whats the deal with Wright?

Kante beat me to it.

I missed the opportunity to say: "What's wrong with Wright?" and I apologize.

You would think that they winner from last night would already be on it, seeing how we really need this one.

It's been such a relief to see him looking like a guy with a future as a starting NBA point guard again. I won't be surprised if he stubs his toe a bit against Miami, and he still looks like he's tightening up in late game situations, but overall he appears to have found a way to positively channel the recent adversity, and his response to ending up back in the starting lineup has been about as good as I had dared hope.
Also glad to see Booby back in the rotation and (to my eyes) moving with as much of a spring in his step as I've seen in a long time. His continued shooting woes are problematic (and baffling), but he's still my first choice as primary backup at point.

Anything other than jump shots from our molasses moving center Chris Kaman would be much appreciated.

I'd like to see some Roddy lobs as a set piece like we saw many times last year.

I'm really glad to see Roddy get the back-up pg lately (since we know Rick won't play him at the 2) over Dojo. He may not do anything great, but he does seem more poised and makes fewer mistakes. Remember that he had the flu on Sunday. I think that same bug hit the whole team at one point or another.
