Wow. Think the defender started to back off there and give Roddy at full speed the layup. But instead he kicked it out and Dahntay skipped the wide open corner three. Glad we came out with free throws...

Wide open looks all over the court right now for us, Memphis looking bad.
Nice drive by Crowder, think he can do that more often.

The last defender was ready for the block, Arthur it was, so i think so it was a solid/good play by Roddy.

I was mad about that too but he made it up with a nice defensive rotation on Gasol and a pull J off a screen. 10-15ft jumper should be his go to shot

The Marion and Roddy pick and roll has always worked for some reason.

If marion could rediscover that three from his phx days... it would help the mavs spacing a bunch.

I don't think Memphis has any gas in the tank. Would like to see them both full strength as the mavs finally look like they are making progress.

Marion's whole game changes if people have to respect that 3. He's deadly on the tear drop floater. Give the 3 fake and head in for a running floater. They have to respect that 3 first though.

Dirk missing free throws is actually a good sign. His shot is simply off, not his body...
Him making FT's and missing regular shots, would be much more worrisome.

The half already gone and you guys still with no OJ/Dirk pick and roll... I can't understand Carlisle sometimes. Why he don't play Sarge and Wright either?

One should also not forget that Dirk lost some weight. It probably needs some time to adjust...

To me it actually signaled that the knee isn't at full strength or that the conditioning isn't all of the way back. Looked like he shorted them both, which is typically a sign of fatigue.

They are going right at Dirk not knowing that Kaman is worse defensively.
